I have been silently following your PTR! You kiddos are dolls BTW. I am also from Missouri and an RN. Lots in common already! Lol we leave in 18 days! Super excited! I like your touring plan idea! I just might try that too! It's our first visit to Disneyland!

We are in the teens wooo whooo!!!! my cousin is a beautician and I asked he the other day if she could do my and DD some Mickey mouse nails and she said yes!! The only problem is unless she will stay at work late the day before we leave I will have to go on the day we leave and it might interfere with surprising the kids, so that is something I am going to have to figure out. Time seems to be going by pretty quickly and I am getting so excited, I think we have basically everything packed and probably the week before I will get all of our snacks together.

Thanks so much for following along!! We are getting so excited!! I have always wanted to go in October but it never works out me and the kids are always in school!! Maybe one of these days though

I keep putting into perspective the amount of time we have left...we have this weekend and next weekend at home then we will be gone!! Yesterday I called and made a reservation for Studio Disney 365, I told DD they have frozen hair styles and she is beyond excited...I made one for DS too even though he said he would rather just get his face painted like Olaf's face so we will see if that is available at a face painting place...even though I think face painting is a HUGE waste of money...but it is his money so if that is what he wants to spend it on he can. We have still been trying to get the rest of our spending money together so that has been stressing me out but hopefully we will get some good news about that tomorrow!! I also got our hair/nail appts for the 24th when I get off work, my cousin is even gonna put little tips on Briley...she is going to be ecstatic!!

Well a minor set back in the height department, this weekend we went to a local water park and you had to be 48 inches for the slide Briley was about a qtr of an inch from the 48 inch which she was barefoot but she will probably only be wearing flip flops at the parks, when we got home I did show her how to stand up real straight and try to touch the thing with her head, I also started preparing her for the possibility that she might not be tall enough...we will see what happens!! The plus side of that is she had to take a swim test to be able to slide down the slides she had to swim from one side of the pool to the other without touching anyone or standing up and she did it!!...We got some good news the last few days with the spending money aspect so my mind is a little more at ease!! After today we have 10 days!!!!!!

SINGLE DIGITS!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!! I got the rest of our stuff for snacks yesterday I will be going thru our suitcase one more time this weekend to make sure we have all that we need, I have been looking up things for us to do when we stop in Vegas, I am planning on going to Academy Sports this weekend for those cooling towels(frog something) since its looking like its going to be 110 in Vegas I think we are all set...DBF hasn't even began packing yet all I know is he better have all his stuff ready to go BY next Friday Morning!!!

One more week!!! This time next week I will be loading up the car and trying to rest for the long drive!!!! I don't know how I am going to make it thru the rest of the week

One word of caution about the Studio 365 - my daughter is mixed like yours and the spray they use for their hair was soooooo damaging to her beautiful hair.

It basically is a glue with sparkles - not hair spray. So we ran into 2 issues:

1. When she went to go swimming her hair became goopy and then hard - not to mention there were sparkles all over the Grand California pool which was embarrassing.

2. When I went to wash it out, her hair broke a little! I'm not sure if it was because of the combination with chlorine or just that she has sensitive hair...but she lost a few curls.

Again, it could just be her hair, but I wanted to bring it up to you since Briley has pretty hair

We're going next Thurs again and instead of Studio365 I told her she could get the face painting done, but she gets it on her hands like stamps. They do pretty designs on their hands and even though she washed her hands all day it didn't come off.

Just a suggestion!

I am officially done packing...the bad thing about this trip being so late in July is 2 days after we get home my kids will be starting school so i am dealing with expenses of vacation and school we got the kids school shoes today and i am going to let them take them to Disneyland with us, even though DD would wear flip flops all day everyday i think the day we decide to do screaming so hopefully it will give her enough to be tall enough. My BF has FINALLY started getting stuff together, i have told him a hundred times he needs to have EVERYTHING done and ready Thursday night because we are leaving as soon as he gets off Friday!

Called my debit card ppl this morning to let them know we are going to be traveling, got my whole house cleaned this weekend and all the laundry done which was a huge task!! Now just waiting for these last few days to go by. We did have a bit of a downer this weekend...This is what happened to DS



He was playing flash light tag and ran smack dab into a tree!! Those are going to be some wonderful vacation pics!!
