as I was driving to work today....I realized its THURSDAY and squealed like a little girl because I get to make my first reservation today!!! It is at Café Orleans just trying to decide what time so we can get done and go get us a spot for F!

54 more days!!! Just made my second reservation for Ariel's Grotto, I wanted the Character meal but we usually don't eat big lunches but I was able to get a 430 reservation so that is pretty close to being dinner and we can just get us a snack for later

I am finally able to technically say we are going on vacation next month hehe...even though its the end of the month...I am so proud of my kiddos they have so much money saved and have been working their lil booties off to get even more...I have been giving them 50 cents a load to help fold laundry and 50 cents for getting up in the mornings the first time and for whatever other chores around the house...those 50 cents adds up in just 2 days Briley has got $3 then they still get $5 twice a month for having their rooms cleaned so all of their things will be bought with their own money...which means I MAY get to spend a little money on me!! Still hoping for the purse but don't know if I am going to be able to pull that one off

My phone says 47 days until we are at Disneyland, so that means 45 days until we leave!!! I have started checking things off my little list of things to make sure we pack, had to get the car dvd player in working order and just been getting a few things hear and there so I don't have to get everything all at once, I am gonna start stocking up on bottled water this week because I have decided that the only meal we are going to order drinks with will be dinners (I am not paying $3-$4 per drink everytime we get food)...I do most of my planning while at work so I have all my papers and stuff at work I think I am now to the point I can safely take them home and start going over the plan with the other half. We are just counting down days

So excited....my kids had to go to the dentist and for some reason they weighed and measured them (in all the years we have went there they have never done that) DD5 is 48 1/2 inches and DS6 is 51 inches!!! So that means they are officially tall enough to ride all the rides!!! (if they want of course) DS had been so excited about riding the roller coaster and now he is acting like he is scared to do it but DD is super excited which surprises me!! I guess we will just have to wait and see how it plays out!!

FORTY DAYS!!!! And we will be IN THE PARK so that means only 38 until we head out!! Wooo whooo I am getting more excited with each day!!!! I got a little something that is awesome for the kids and the unlikeliest of places...SUBWAY!



The had these awesome little drawstring backpacks that will be perfect for my kiddos to carry in Disneyland!! They were so excited...I did immediately take them from the kids and put em in the suitcase so they don't get tore up between now and then!!

I thought it was weird too I even seen them weighing and measuring a little old lady!!

Our kids had a TON of makeup days too but we always get out earlier it seems than everyone else they had to go all the way til the Friday before memorial day though!

I am definitely sending good vibes your way that you sell your trailer!! We have a lot of FB yardsale pages in our area if you have those I know that is a good place and even craigslist.

I had to go back and read to make sure I hadn't already posted this but, I have wanted to surprise my kids when we leave. Of course they know we are going but don't understand when so I have decided the day that we are leaving I am going to take them to my moms, get everything ready to go and wait...and wait...for their dad to get home from work and get ready to go and then when we go pick them up from my moms tell them we are leaving right then to go to Disneyland. At least that is what I am having planned for now.

Thanks I hope I can pull it off and not say anything the week or two before we leave!! The really don't understand the concept of time and weeks and stuff so they really wouldn't understand unless I came out and said how many days anyway

I found my flip flops I am going to wear...I am going to alt them with my regular flip flops but I got these yesterday (they are dirty because for some odd reason I decided to wear them to the tball field last night) but I was on my feet ALL day at work and then put these bad boys on and stood up for 2hrs at tball and my feet didn't hurt one bit!

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful about tidal pools. I was born on an island but we don't have tidal pools here so I'm completely clueless

Got a few things for our trip from the Dollar tree (I love that place) like ponchos toothbrushes shampoo toothpaste some things for the kids to play with during the drive, and I also took some of the money the kids have saved and got these



Then what money they have left and what they earn between now and then will be in cash that I will find some little change purses or something to use to keep them separate. So right now they have a $65 Visa Card each, a $60 BAB/Ridemakerz Card, and a $70 Disney Gift card along with quiet a bit of cash...so they should be set!! My phone says 35 days so 33 til we leave!!!!

I have also been doing this weekend and started gettin a few more clothes in the suitcases

We leave in 31 days!!! THIRTY ONE DAYS!!!!! I am so excited!!! I don't have much else to do since basically everything is planned so I think I am going to make up my own touring plan. Basically what I plan to do is start in one land in DL and make our way around I plan on getting whatever FP is in that land when we enter the land and ride the other rides until our FP window opens up so I think I am just gonna work on that a little to keep me excited....can't buy anything right now til I get paid again even then we only have a few more things that we need and I still have a ton of laundry to finish and as I have been going I have been putting stuff aside that is in good condition so the kids won't wear them and mess them up all though most of their shirts are homemade!

I have been silently following your PTR! You kiddos are dolls BTW. I am also from Missouri and an RN. Lots in common already! Lol we leave in 18 days! Super excited! I like your touring plan idea! I just might try that too! It's our first visit to Disneyland!
