So we still have not received our travel documents, and we are within 3 weeks out now, so I called our travel agent... She talked to Disney and they are just now printing them out and sending them... Our TA requested they overnight them since we are so close, but they wanted to charge us $10 to do that... She figured if they were sending them today, we should have them by Friday, so we will have to wait and see what happens

I went and bought new backpacks for the family... They are Nike mini backpacks... They are very cute, and very light weight... We are going to try something new this year, the kids will carry their own stuff (autograph books, penny tubes, etc...) I found 3 different colors, so I bought all of them, that way DS and DD could pick theirs, and DW could have one too DS picked the red one, DD picked the blue one, and DW got the pink one...

And here are the autograph books that Toni made for the kids... She figured these would be better since we tend to get every characters autographs, even duplicates... Plus they are more personal and will hold up better.... They each have about 100 pages inside...

Do online check-in for resort
Get all electronics charged
make sure all memory cards are empty

At the 2 day mark(Sept.13th)
Clean out the fridge
Mark sure all laundry is done
Buy Jordan's food *Just need perishables*
Get Jordan a house key DONE

At 1 day out(Sept.14th)
Go to bank, make any deposits, get cash
Delta check-in and print boarding passes
Pack all electronics and chargers

We made buttons, really cheap and easy to do, and will be wearing them on our bags... They are about 3 inch in diameter, have a lime green mickey head, and our dis names...

If you happen to spot us, pull us aside... You should make them yourselves... We got the button kit at Wal-Mart... They are about 80 cents a piece, and just snap together... If you need help in photoshop making them, let me know...

Terry...I have tried n tried to print stuff out in Lime Green but it keeps coming out more of a kelly green, any ideas?

I've found that the kids get a little more interaction with the characters when they have "home made" ones.

Terry...I have tried n tried to print stuff out in Lime Green but it keeps coming out more of a kelly green, any ideas?

The only thing I can think of, is not everything that you print will be what the monitor shows... Try changing the color either darker or lighter... It may be that your monitor shows a much lighter green, but it will print more lime green... Worth giving it a shot... Try writing something and print in what you think is lime green (or even what the computer shows as lime green) and print, then change it a little, and reprint... you will find a happy medium, and then just remember that for future...

Oops... I forgot that I didn't sign Toni out before I made the post... Oh well...

We have decided to do what MrsTheKing cleverly calls "Tinkerbell Farts" for the kids... We have 10 days of our vacation set up so that they will receive a special gift from Tinkerbell... The kids will find the gift in the hotel room either when we return from the parks, or when they wake up... The little gift bags will have pixie dust (aka confetti) spread around just as if Tinkerbell had been there and farted ... I even thought about spraying some vanilla room spray so that I can go, "What is that smell? Smells like a Tink fart to me." Anyways, the gifts range from some candy, to some light up necklaces, to video games, and surprise events that were scheduled like the Albatross Pirate Treasure Cruise and 1900 Park Fare dinner with Cinderella... Should be a lot of fun for the kids...

You would think that your TA could have sprung the $10 bucks to have them overnights... After all, isn't it her job to make sure her clients have what they need?!?!?!

I think that is a great idea to have the kids carry their own stuff!! And the backpack you got, you will love!!! Devon has the blue one, and he carries his soccer stuff in it... It is very lightweight and durable.
