OT: What kind of car do you drive?

I was "lucky" enough to inherit a 2006 Cadillac DTS with only 20,000
miles on it....

Thought we'd hit the jackpot.

meh

"The Money Pit" as we've started to call it...

Even the most basic repair is $500.

Yes, when it's running it's a dream. It hugs the highway like nobody's business.... It''s interior is leather *everything*, and the Bose stereo sounds better than our home unit... it's a dream....

But, to keep the darned thing on the road is an expensive nightmare......

Our next car will be a Hyundai.... And we'll be more than happy with it. :goodvibes
You can always sell that car and get another. A friend of mine always gets Escalades and she is very happy with them. Cup holders galore, too. She does replace them before they are 5-6 years old, though. I hope your Hyundai runs better and am glad you'll be happier with it. :)

I have a Grand Cherokee and love that car. Runs beautifully, does nicely on snow and has a place for everything...not as many cup holders as the Escalade, but then I didn't shell out the big bucks and will have to make-do. :)

Well so much for keeping my car another 3 years. Right before Thanksgiving I purchased a 2012 Ford Escape Limited. So far I love it. I will take it for its first "road trip" in two weeks.

2011 Ford Explorer! Love love this car! The changes on the Explorer are fantastic! It's 4 wheel drive limited and I can't imagine wanting another car!!

We just purchased a 2012 Ford Flex. It sure does make the 9 hour trip to WDW nice :goodvibes Plenty of room and very comfortable.

2007 Nissan Sentra. I bought it used for a song and my payments are very low. Since it has 88k miles now, I am beginning to look for a new car but my pocketbook is cringing at paying more for a car payment. :scared1:

A 1999 Chevy Blazer that just EATS gas. This year I'm looking to trade it in for a regular car. I'd love a 2012 Accent for the gas mileage alone.

2011 Acura MDX, beautiful burgundy color. Love it, love it, love it! It is the family road trip car, so we have the entertainment package (rear entertainment system) and the tech package (bluetooth hands free, iPod integration, etc).

Did I say, I LOVE it?!?!

:) DH drives a Black 2009 Jeep Wrangler soft top..which of course now has expensive costuming...big tires, loud muffler. You would think a 47 year old would be over that..:sad2: I had to drive it today to work...because...

:thumbsup2 DH took my Black 2011 Cadillac SRX to have the oil and filter changed. He could not figure out how to turn the heated seats on or play his Ipod.....Mawhahahaha...keeps him out of it.

We are both Pooh sized and he thinks my caddy "Cindy" is the most comfy car he has ever driven. We traded a Hummer H3 in for Cindy. She gets better gas mileage.

2000 Chevy Voyager Van
2001 Chevy Tracker SUV

As long as engine starts when I turn the key, I'm good. Money not spent on a new car, is money that can be spent elsewhere.

me-2003 Toyota 4 Runner
DH-1999 Toyota Camry V6

We're quite happy with both, the Camry is approaching 150,000 and I just hit 100,000 on the 4 Runner. Will probably replace the Camry next year with something smaller for DH (he likes smaller cars and will give us more room in the garage!).

fun/show: 1983 toyota truck fully customized with only 130k original miles and factory a/c (soon to be painted to match the hood)

Love your Toy!

I drive an '06 4x4 v6 double cab Taco with a little over 20,000. Love it! With my ride sporting a Lion King license plate I have considered getting the tailgate painted with a scene from The Lion King, but fear if damaged how hard it might be to get it touched up.

DH drives a '03 Honda Civic DX. He is contemplating a Hyundai Genesis next, though he has owned five Hondas
and not sure about moving away from an Accord or Civic.

Right now they are paid for..... so all is good!

2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Love this car but the trunk is way too small.
