OT- Pregnant Mommies ??

Week #17 for me on baby #2. We'll be at WDW in less than two weeks from now. I have more energy now than I've had in a while so I'm looking forward to getting a little exercise, fresh air and sunshine before that long Western New York winter ahead of us.

I decided I'm not going to be upset about "missing out" on rides - there will be plenty of other trips in the future to do that. This time I'm focusing on DS first WDW experience and taking pictures. DH can go on the rides with DS.

We really thought today was it. I've had back pain all weekend, this morning started having contractions and so went in to the doctor. She said I was 3cm dilated and definitely in labor, sent me to the hospital. 5 hours later I was discharged because apparantly it was "false labor". I don't know all the medical stuff, I'm not a doctor or a nurse, but I swear NONE of those contractions were FALSE!

So I was released just about the time my mom and aunt and DH's parents arrived in town after their 4 hours drive. So now we wait. The OB seemed optimistic that it would be happening for me in the next 24-48 hours. I just want it to happen NOW!

Hang in there saucymb! I know exactly how you're feeling. I was there 10 days ago. The end has got to be near. BEst of Luck for a healthy delivery!

I am 18 weeks with baby #4. DS Logan is 10, DS#2 Dalton is 8, DD Lilly is 14 months and now we will have be having another boy! Aidan is due March 16.

Baby number 2 is here! Abel was born on Tuesday, October 23 at 12:49pm. He was a healthy 8 pound 2 ounce boy, though I thought for sure he would be at least 9 pounds as our first was nearly 9 pounds.

Labor was pretty fast, I got my epidural at 11am and they told me to sleep for a couple of hours. At 12:45 the baby's heart rate dropped to 68 and the nurse ran in and moved me all around and such, and then the second nurse pulled back the blanket and said "he's crowning!". They paged our doctor to come right away, and four minutes after the first nurse came in, the baby came out! All it took was about a half a push and that was it. My mom, aunt, MIL missed it by 1 minute. I felt terrible, was was so glad labor was over!

We got home this afternoon and Jonah is adjusting very well to his new baby brother.

Congratulations everyone,

I am due early December with bub number two. Who at last scan was looking like another boy. Cullen currently 20 months is very cute with giving the bubba/belly a kiss before bed but I suspect he has no idea what is about to happen in his little world.

Getting difficult to sleep hence why it is 3.38 am and I am up playing on the computer cause I can't sleep. Hungry, uncomfortable and needing the toilet.

I'm 37 weeks and I'm shooting to have baby the end of next week or that Monday morning after. Ha! Wish me luck. All I want to do is get to sleep on my tummy again. And this is my 2nd and last babe.

Number six, way to go. They really are a gift given to us. We have three and are open for more. You know after the 4th most catholic schools are free!!! I must say it get harder to loose that weight each time and the older I get UH!! I hate to diet.

I'm happy to have found this thread--I'm not saying too much in my everyday life yet, but I'm pregnant I'm about 10 weeks with #3, which makes me due late July. I'm waiting for an u/s to verify that, we were TTC for about eighteen months due to very irregular cylces so I'm not sure my dates are right yet.

I'd love to hear from some of the Mommies who were in WDW last month. We are leaving next Saturday...I hadn't done very much planning for actually being pregnant on our trip because I didn't think it was going to happen. I've warned the kids that I can't ride the "fun" rides with them this trip. My DS5 rolls his eyes and says, "I know, I know...cause of the baby."

I'm still here...just turned 35 weeks yesterday. I've already got this feeling that I'll be pregnant the full 5 weeks remaining, possibly even longer. Overall, I still feel great!

Still hanging in too! I'm now 34 weeks, I think, lol...I've lost track of all time with this pregnancy...

We just got back from Disney 2 weeks ago tomorrow (so sad, didn't want to leave) But we had the most amazing time! I couldn't go on alot of the rides, but my DH and mom went together, while my dad and I just hung out with the kids. They aren't big thrill seekers anyways, so it worked out well for us!

I'm feeling good so far, only real complaint is the constant indegestion and terrible heartburn...

Congratulations on your pregnancy! We just went to WDW Dec.15-23rd (I was 35 wks pg) and I was able to do a lot. Most of the rides that the kids wanted to ride I was able to go on with them.
I didn't ride Kilamanjaro Safari in AK, though.
My DH and 5yr old ds rode a few rides that both dd and I couldn't (EE, Splash Mtn) but dd and I kept each other company and went shopping while the boys went on the ride.
You will have a great trip!

I forgot about this thread! Hey everyone! I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow...just planned the c-section for February 5...so the end is in sight! I would prefer not to have a c-section, but...my first was born that way, and they claim my pelvis is to small for a regular delivery.

Feet1...was that you that I PM'd with, that you were at Disney at the same time as me? I think we had the same birthday, December 13? Or am I thinking of someone else? Glad you had a good time. We did too. It was sooooo hard to come home!

I'll have to remember to check back here more often during the next few weeks.
