(((Hugs))) Patsy to your DD, poor thing - hope everything is sorted out pretty darn quick for her (and you too!).
Thankfully my antibiotics kicked in yesterday and although I can't eat on that side (too tender) the pain has almost gone.

Gawd, I took Kyra for a picnic down by the local Riverside today as we like to sit under the trees and watch the boats and also visit the library. We was having a great time untill all these police, ambulances, fireman and RAF turned up, a little girl had fallen in the river and the whole place was mayhem...2 hours later the child still hasn't been found.

Was very scary for Kyra as she had no idea what was going on, and i tried not to hang around too long after that incase the child was found dead, that is a sight i don't think i could of handled.

Thanks Diane - the thing is they are now talking about postponing it until Oct half term :scared1: It would be just the luck I'm having that we go away and it flares up or she starts school and it does it

Oh that's awful Emma - I really hope they find the child :( It doesn't bear thinking about. Wonder where the parents were - any idea how old she was?? Two men have died here in the last few weeks swimming - one in the sea right in front of the lifeguards - he was 18 I think, and another in a river further up the coast. It's frightening how quickly things can turn. DD1 is having swimming lessons - one of the first things I wanted her to start at 4 (at that age they go into the pool on their own i.e. not with the parent, for the lesson), after that she can start dance lessons (which is what she wants to do lol!). She's coming on well - it wouldn't save her in current but I think it's something a child should learn from an early age esp where we live being so near to the sea etc.

Went with my Mum to see a house this afternoon (she's sold hers and frantically trying to find one!) and there were police vans all over - thought it was a bit odd as it's a v quiet place. Turns out a 78 yr old man in the next street went walk about yesterday and hasn't been seen since :( He has alzheimers (sp?) so his family are v worried about him. Bless, I really hope he turns up OK.

The girl was apparantly 6 years old, the search has been called off but to if they found her or not I don't know. Very sad. The girl should never of been on the mud (it sinks) in the first place and i have no idea where her parents were. It made me hold on tighter to Kyra's hand though.

Well....just found out the whole thing was a hoax, how disgusting!! How sick are some people.

It ruined our day aswell, we was having such a nice time....:(

Good Evening everyone - this week is going from bad to worse at work.

I had so much work building up including lots of nursery visits I need to do so I cancelled a meeting this afternoon to try and concentrate on getting the visits done and my silly car broke down - I only got it on Monday!!! So got virtually no visits done. Instead I came home and got lots of paperwork done

Thats what makes me angry. Some sick person has tied up all those emergency resources when someone for real might need them:mad:

That is what sickens me the most, someone could of actually been in need.

Its the same with drunk people. We get called to them, hello go home & sleep it off. I know it sounds like i'm not caring but drunks don't need ambulances.

I will have to see if it was a Medway crew who were sent to the hoax

We aren't allowed to swear here are we?.....I was reading what you said and felt sick and upset...told Paul then read what you I quoted here and I seriously can't believe people can be that retarded to do that!:sad1:

I don't understand how a drunk person would need a amubulance unless they had injured themselves. :confused3

I bet the sickos who caused the hoax were having a good old laugh before they got arrested. I hope the law teaches them a lesson.

I know, people see them slumped in the gutter because they can't walk so call us:confused3. I think if drunks were charged for using an ambulance it would cut the number of calls.

I'm glad the hoaxers were arrested, I think they should be hit with the bill for the cost of the services involved. That will be huge as apparently having an ambulance attend somewhere costs approx £400 every call so I can only imaging how much the RAF costs

Good afternoon everyone, been into town this morning and bought a new fridge! Can't wait to get it all up and running (have to wait 2 hours before switiching it on). Now waiting in for the guy to come and do the asbestos test on the kitchen ceiling, then it's off to Tesco! Exciting life I lead! LOls

Hope your car is better Small World.

Hi All

Quick question for all you ebayers.

If you report a listing, ie they are selling something they shouldn't, does the seller know who reported them?

Cheers Suze
