i just found out that we're going to see the finale almost at the same time as in america!! woo hoo!!!

it's going to be broadcast here with only a 3 hour delay from when you see it in the states...
is that cool or what?
of course, that means it will be on at 7 am our time...but what the hay...

for us, the marathon will begin at 5 am our time and the 2.5 hour finale will start at 7 am....totally cool....
so we'll all be late for work that day....

I didnt like this past episode -it should have been the first one of the season.. I feel there were more questions posed then answered.. I fear this will be the final legacy were left with ... and where's Ben been?

so at this point I'm just really frustrated with the whole show. I can't make sense out of any of it. The writers said in last week's article in Ent. Weekly that there will be some questions left unanswered. All I really want to know at this point is....What is/was the MIBlack's name. Do you really think that their mother (or crazy killer of their mother) did not give MIB a name. What is his NAME!

There was some reference in the article to the fact that the creators are very spiritual so it's going to be something stupid like the "candidate" must keep the devil on the island to save civilization.

Smokie prolly just takes the form of MIB to mess with Jacob because he obviously needs the dead body of the person on the island so he can take their form.

Still watching though. This is the only series on TV that I have not missed an episode ever. How scary is that! I can't wait for the finale!!!!

My only guess is that this only applies to MIB. I don't think MIB ever said that about Jacob, but can't be 100% sure on that.

Except I don't understand why he needs a dead body on the island to manifest as, but doesn't actually take the body itself-it still exists outside of the manifestation.

I think the only reason we haven't been given MiB's name is because it would give it all away. Or something like, evil has no name. But still, MiB should have a name as Jacob's brother (pre smokie). Very lame on the writers' part imo to sidestep the name. There was a thread on Lostpedia forum that someone speculated we wouldn't get the name of MiB and everyone jumped all over him about how lame it would be not to get the name in Across the Sea and here we are...

I agree that things are just more confusing now. Probably because they are trying to answer questions that perhaps are better left unanswered and while doing so just confusing us even more!

Or maybe they're messing with everyone to throw us off track. Surely it won't come down to the obvious Good vs Evil/Heaven vs Hell. But then again something like the Mental Institution theory would be even worse.

Ooo, that's right. I forgot about him telling Richard that. Too much to remember!

I too am worried that we are going to get a really lame ending. This season has been really strange. A few really good episodes mixed in with a lot of "what??" episodes. Many of them haven't left me anxious for the next week like past seasons. It's been strange. It will be interesting to see what they have in store for us tomorrow night.

I've been looking for Richard too! I really loved the Richard centric episode. It was my favorite of this season. Where is my Richard?

Yes, there are some who say the final episode will have them all "wake up" from a guided meditation in the Mental Institution where they are all struggling with dealing with losses that they have endured in their lives that sent them over the edge. Jacob/MiB are the weaving of good/evil throughout the "therapy". However, this "ending" would not BEGIN to explain the entire complexity of Lost!

If I don't get answers for who Widmore/Eloise are, not to mention MiB or the EM nature of the island I will be very upset!

That's what I thought it was the first couple of seasons- the mental institution/ therapy thing. But I think...and hope!...it's going to be alot more than that. I don't see them coming out with a feature length movie since the lost followers are such a select group, so limited profit for the movie...that being said, I would go see any lost movie
