OT: LOST fans?

finally got to watch it (we're not allowed to watch until everyone is in the house to watch it together)..

wow!! my brain is fried too!!

how are we going to live without lost???????

by the way, Jacob did say some sort of mumbo jumbo over the water that jack drank..

PEOPLE, IT'S ALMOST OVER?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

how will we survive after tonight???????????????????????????????????????

did anyone watch the first episode last night. It had the pop ups that explain the storyline. It is about good versus evil. Duh! Jacob is good and Man in Black is evil. When the pilot got killed by smokie they did write that smokie could kill him because he wasn't a candidate. It wasn't against the rules.

Of course, Walt was in the first episode. I can't stand watching it now because now I want to know all the answers. Like for instance- why "the others" stole all the children. What happened to the tailies children that the others kidnapped. Walt was suppose to be special, right? What happened to that? remember when walt could see things. and what's up with the dog?

Remember Paolo and Nickie? WTH what did they have to do with any of this? I don't know if I can go back and watch all the episodes. Watching the first episode brought back all kinds of memories.

OK and then what about the numbers. There's got to be something special in the numbers right. Hurley's friend that said the numbers over and over again? How did he know the numbers. Hurley winning the lottery? Did I miss something???

I'm sorry, I'm just rambling now. Can't wait until tonight!

The Backgammon scene with Locke was a HUGE AHA! moment for me! Talk about forshadowing......:scared1:

My poor daughter tried to watch it with me but whenever she asked a question the answer she got from me just confused her more! :rotfl:

My house is on lockdown tonight while I watch this,.....short of a medical emergency nothing is getting between me and the finale....

I wonder how many hundreds of "Lost parties" are going on right now...

:woohoo:

Happy LOST finale night everyone!!! We have the house all decorated and have been watching old episodes...27 minutes and counting till it all begins!!!

Ok...SERIOUSLY? Did they just do that? What just happened...

I DON"T LIKE THIS ENDING!

I followed it well until the last 20 minutes...then I got lost....

I agree. It was going so well-and then....wha??????:confused3 I don't see how it comes together.

I heard the writers had 3 possible endings. I wonder if the other two were better than this one!

OK - I really liked the ending.

Kevin thought it was all going to take place in Bob Newhart's Inn.......

OMG, just finished watching (had to put dd down to sleep first).

WOW WOW WOW

Loved the ending. It's the only thing powerful enough to end such a series imo.

LOVED it.
:thumbsup2

The alternate endings are not serious ones if you believe the lost podcast.

And now that the series is over, isn't it time for Disney to make it an attraction at DHS?

I bet you kleenex stock went up during the episode.. holy tearjerker batman...

Okay, I am ticked. I am really ticked. I did not like this at all. Mainly because so many questions were simply ignored.

What was the island? What was it's purpose? What was the smoke monster? The others? What was the purpose of the Widmore storyline? I mean, were they trying to say that they all died in the original crash or something? What the heck?! But some people at the end were not on the plane so that can't be it. I mean, there are so many questions I could ask that I could go on and on, but instead I am going to bed.

It seems like the writers brought up too many questions to actually answer and got all lazy. I mean, haven't they been planning the end of this show for a few years?! Wasn't the point of that so it could be concluded properly?!!

I could actually kick my tv right now. I feel like Linus when he realized the Great Pumpkin was not coming and he missed trick or treating.

I have been waiting giving them the benefit of the doubt all season and then this?! :headache::headache: I am gong to bed before I get hysterical!!

I agree....too many questions left unanswered and story lines left unexplained...though i heard that is how it was going to be so i wasn't all that shocked but still very disappointed. I do think the writers got lazy and twisted the story so much they couldn't find a way to write themselves out of it.

I know some people liked the ending but to me having an ending where "everyone eventually dies sometime" and are reunited in an afterlife was so obvious and taking an easy way out. I thought if they weren't going to give us answers that at least they would tie in what was going on the island and the alternate reality" in a creative way but they didn't even do that. In fact it did not tie into anything regarding the island at all really. Basically they tied up the craziness with the island, left it that some people left the island, some stayed and eventually everyone died at some point in their lives but then were reunited in afterlife. That to me just wasn't good enough and was lazy writing. I was happy to see characters reunite but really, alot of it was way too rushed, especially the last few minutes.

You are heading to WDW soon, things are looking up.
Good, thought provoking ending. I feel like they left a lot open to interpretation, like looking at a good painting.
