Extended hours - Deluxe to Value

I can take advantage of extended hours on check-out day, but what if, in the case of a split stay, my check out of the deluxe day was also a check in at a value day? Can I still use extended evening hours?

Yes. Have your MDE ready to show your reservations if needed.

If you have a car, it might be worth leaving it at the check out hotel until after EEH to avoid this issue. There is no specified time you have to move your car on check out date and I am sure you aren’t the only guest who has taken advantage of EEH on check out day either.

Otherwise, I would plan on using a ride share from your check out hotel to the value resort once you return from EEH (or walk to a nearby resort and take a ride share from there, if one is within walking distance).

The AoA-Pop line shuts down with normal park hours.

The entire Skyliner shuts down approx 1 hour after regular park hours although sometimes it may run up to 90 mins after park close. After that time buses are offered to resorts.

I honestly cannot confirm if a bus will be available after EEH to value or moderate resorts but it may be worth asking a CM near the buses once your EEH is complete. We once arrived via bus from MK to DHS a couple of hours after DHS closed as that was where our friends' car was parked. We were anticipating they would need to drive us to Pop due to how long DHS had been closed but a transportation CM told us to go to the Pop bus platform and we were picked up shortly after that and had a private but from DHS to Pop.

YMMV but it might be worth asking after the event if their is an option to take you to your resort. Can't hurt to ask.

Regarding post-DEEH transportation, I agree with asking the CM at the bus station. Many years ago we attended the DVC anniversary party when staying at Pop. Afterwards the CM at the bus station approached us and asked where we were headed, and like @scrappinginontario we had a private bus ride back to Pop.

Based on previous posts here, guests attending DEEH after moving from Deluxe to Moderate or Value resorts are not rare. I think Disney is prepared for that situation.
