OT (ish) who is going to Disney Princess on Ice (Wishes)?

I had row A tickets for the last Disney Princesses on Ice a couple of years ago, but they really weren't good seats for an ice show, due to them being on almost the same level as rinkside, and therefore our view was partially blocked by the 2 rinkside tiers.

A bit higher up (row C or D) at Nottingham arena is ideal for the ice shows I've found .

Sounds good. We might be on a slightly later train than you as we have to travel before as well, and are midway for 2 main stations so it will be all down to ticket prices when they are released. But it would be good to say Hi.

Oh I hope we are not stuck behind a pillar or something Hoping it's not fully booked so we can move if need be (think it will be as it's the only weekend showing - rest are midweek and I'm sure a lot of little 'Princesses' will at school).

we do have disney on ice here we had finding nemo, thats finished now and the princesses arent scheduled to appear here. fingers crossed it will some other time

we have row A tickets too as I booked them the day after we saw Mickey's Magic Show, dd is just going to love it !!! can't remember if we're there the 10th or 11th October, will need to check the tickets

I checked our tickets and we are row A rinkside.

Has anyone been to a similar show at manchester arena and know if they are good seats? I just assumed rinkside = good view at an ice show...

I agree I wouldn't book row A at a cinema/theatre as you'll strain your neck looking up!

We're going on the 24th October at the NIA, Birmingham. I also bought tickets before they went on general sale, so we've got front row tickets, Lottie has no idea and will be thrilled! She loved HSM on Ice, but OMG at the price of the merchandise etc!

Just bumping this thread as we have just returned and I know a few others are going soon.

Good show, only 1hr 45mins long including a break so it seemed a bit rushed to me but perfect for little ones. Merchandise VERY expensive and for those of you who have ringside seats, I bet they are fantastic.

My photos are terrible but I videoed quite a lot of it so I'll try and upload them over the weekend for those of you who aren't going.

Thanks. Was there an interval? To be honest after Walking with Dinosaurs I'm dreading going back to the NIA. I have arthritis in both knees and it felt like my legs were being cut off.

Thanks for the update Jeccaboos, glad that there is an interval, I was beginning to feel squashed at HSM on Ice! Merchandise price doesn't surprise me, I'm still in shock from the prices at HSM last year! Think Lottie will be saving her birthday money if she wants to buy anything!

Yes, there was about a 15 minute break. Started at 7pm, interval was about 7.50ish and it finished at 8.45pm. It does go really quick as well.
