DD's School Annual Ski Day is today!

Just found out it's bad up in the Barrie area!

I did not let her take her cell phone with her! Now I wished she had!



That they make it there and back safely!

That's what happens when you have to get up at 4:30 in the morning to get her ready! Brain Not Functioning plus with this VIRUS!

I checked the Horseshoe Valley one and I don't see their busses!

So I called the school! (Let's hope that they don't tell DD!) They arrived safely! So let them have a fun time and now all I have to do is wait for their return!

My daughter went up to horseshoe 2 weeks ago and they said no cells no cameras ect I sent her with her cell because I wanted her to call me when she got there!! But also our school did a phone tree thing , gave a list of a tree like a family tree is done of what parent calls who to check in and let you know what our kids are doing got three phone calls in the 2 days one when they arrived one at night and one when they were 1 hour away from home the next day... wierd your school wouldnt do something like that so parents know all is going well specially in bad weather ! I am sure all is well tho

Scratch,
I drive Horsehoe Valley Road every day to get to work. DH is with the OPP and he closed the road leading form the Wasaga beach this morning at 6:30 am so I didn't even get that far. I am sure everything went fine but the weather was nuts here today. Started with a "snow thunder" storm last night. On the upside those bus drivers are prostars. They know what there doing! Hope she had a good time though if that helps !!

Good News!

All is well!

She couldn't figure out why I was worried!

They must have left a little earlier 'cause she was waiting for me when I got home from work!

She headed striaght for the computer and I headed straight for bed! Didn't dare ask to use it first for fear she might see this!

She mentioned that she did two runs on the Tube Hill and then headed into the Chalet. She said she couldn't feel her face or ears! I mentioned that a hat would have helped! Her response, and ruin my hair!
