That's terrible abotu the bloods, hope it went OK.

I've found hell - it's been renamed Woolworths! Utter chaos in there today!

Really? Are they closing down?

The one near us closed down in favour of Waitrose in July and I really miss it. I used to get cheap wrapping paper there, cards, bday presents...

So now we'll have 3 big shops one next to the other (Sainsbury's, Waitrose and M&S) . What's the point?????

Seems that they are likely to close. I popped into the one in town before taking Lottie to dancing to pick up a couple of bits and it was chaos! Up to 50% off of everything, the manager looked like he was about to cry, there was stock everywhere with "customers" not having any regard for it, queues stretching round the shop and people arguing over things. I haven't seen anything like it before!

Glad i didnt go into town today then, gotta pop in tomorrow to take some library books back that are 2 weeks late lol.

Luckily being kids book they dont have a fee if late lol.

I really like Woolies too . That's the only toy store we have in town (well, we have a small Gamley's in Allders but quite limited in choice really) other than ELC. To me, Argos doesn't count as you can't actually see the toys before you buy them. We have Toys R Us about 10 mins drive I guess but there're usually better bargains in Woolies. It's great for general household/stationery stuff as well.

Good Evening everyone, been a nice day here today even got some washing out (it didn't dry though).
Been to Warrington shopping with Mum, then spent the afternoon doing housework and popping on and off here! Now waiting for my friend to come so we can have a good natter.
Rang Abbey up this afternoon for an application form to sort out shares with them for Disney - need to get a holiday booked!!!

I had a really good time in Germany, though it was quite tiring. I was also appointed a trustee of the group (which has charity status), which is nice.

More importantly, I made it there and back without getting lost

You haven't missed my post - I've been really really busy recently so have hardly been around (just look at how many quiz questions I've left open )
