Had my form to fill in for the Abbey Share thingy! Will get it filled in and posted off, once I can register online and buy the shares I will be booking for Disney for next July, 10 days I'm hoping.

I had a really good time in Germany, though it was quite tiring. I was also appointed a trustee of the group (which has charity status), which is nice.

More importantly, I made it there and back without getting lost

You haven't missed my post - I've been really really busy recently so have hardly been around (just look at how many quiz questions I've left open )

I wasn't sure if I had missed you posting as I have skimmed over pages pretty quickly this week.
Glad to hear you had a good time and didn't get lost - that would be a major achievement for me!

Good afternoon!! Just trying to tidy downstairs up a bit to make room for the Xmas tree. DH is jet-washing (or whatever you call it) the concrete bit outside as there's still quite a bit of muck from the work done this week. Then he'll get the ladder out from the shed and get the tree down from the loft. The kids have been asking to decorate the tree eversince yesterday! So, will post a pic or two of the tree later if the kids have done a good job of decorating it .

I have that one too. Have been playing it for months and I've only just stopped recently. Played it again the other day and there were 2 cockroaches in my house lol.

Gosh i took Kyra into town to see Santa today, where she declared in the queue loudly that this is not the real Santa and that the real Santa lives in Disneyland....

Then we finally got into see Santa and his beard kept slipping so much it nearly fell off his face. Kyra just keep looking at him like he was a monster from another planet. She really does think everyone lives in Disneyland LOL.

Louise asked me today if Santa was really real. I asked why would she ask that and she said two of her classmates told her that he wasn't real . My answer to her was something along the lines of what I told her for the tooth fairy and those who do not believe or think Santa is real will not get extra Christmas pressies from him.

Luckily she didnt say anything after she was more excited about a visit to the library and Mcdonalds lol.

I feel kinda bad as i blame myself that Kyra thinks everyone that isnt from Disney isn't the real deal.

Ive had a busy day and off down to London tomorrow for a work conference on Monday and Tuesday

A Small World, where are you staying in London? I hope you have a nice time at your conference. I love going to London with work, although I am usually followed by 30 - 40 8 and 9 year olds!!

I have had a nice day today. We went to visit the inlaws. They live in the same county as us but at the oposite end. We went out to a stately home which had a christmas fare, so we had a look around the house and walked around the grounds which was lovely. My MIL had also cooked a Christmas dinner for lunch including christmas pudding which was yummy!! We won't see the inlaws on Christmas day (we are going over there on Christmas eve instead) as on Christmas day we are going to my parents. I am really looking forward to this as I haven't spent Christmas day at my parents house since we married 10 years ago (usually the families come to our house as we are in the middle of the 2 families homes or we are at WDW!!)

A Small World, where are you staying in London? I hope you have a nice time at your conference. I love going to London with work, although I am usually followed by 30 - 40 8 and 9 year olds!!

Im just staying in a travel lodge one night (£19 for central London isnt bad) and Novotel the 2nd night.
We are going to see Chicago on Mon night as well so hopefully I'll have a good time even though it is work.
At least I wont be followed round by 30 8 year olds
