Hello everyone!

I had a meeting this morning and was about 2 mins away from my house walking back and it chucked it down! I was going to pop back out to the PO dont fancy it now I'm nice and warm LOL..... I decided to have some munch and do some work instead... but I feel sick now as I've eaten to much chocolate LOL...

Aww.. My brother has a fear of needles.. he use to run away when he had to have them, he'd do anything not to....

I remember when i was in triage at medway hospital, i had this midwife who i swear had no clue what she was doing as when she took my blood i actually thought i was going to die, i went faint and my life flashed before my eyes.

I'm kinda used to blood tests now, its having a drip inserted is what freaks me out the most. I had over 6 of them when i was pregnant due to being ill and each time i cried my eyes out.

When I was pregnant I had to be drip fed and it was this white liquid and it blocked up my veins, it was so painful. apparently they usually put the tube though a hole in the throat!! .
I was on it for 6 weeks and had to have blood taken every day during that time. Can't count how many drips I had when pregnant. I had extreme hyperemesis.

Are you easy to draw blood from though? I used to hate it (not that I love it now) as it was a nightmare trying to draw blood from me. I was much much bigger then as well, so couldn't find a "good vein" and it's usually the 3rd or 4th attempt that they manage to get some. I'm not too bad now after having had Louise as I've lost weight since. I was so shocked when they got it 1st attempt (when pregnant with Adam)! I just look away when the needle goes in but look back when blood's being drawn out lol.

I felt like a right pleb, i was in the maternity ward with woman 32 weeks plus who had pre-eclampisa etc and there was me 8 weeks pregnant looking like i belonged on a diff ward lol.

None of family believed me when i tried to state what i had was not just morning sickness.
