Osceola Parkway to US192

Has anyone recently explored the western end of Osceola Parkway just beyond Animal Kingdom Lodge? Some recent (NOT on-line) maps show a road that continues beyond the western end of Osceola Parkway to join US192 near Marker #4. This is roughly a northern extension of the old Black Lake Road and may have the same name. It may also be a road going through a local community and so not popular as a short cut. But if it exists (and some people claim to have used it) it will be a very good way of getting from Osceola Parkway to US192 and vice versa. In that case, one does not need to use Sherberth Road anymore, which I heard can get crowded at peak times.

that road is a construction road that is now closed there is a fence blocking you from getting down the road at blacklake road. I don't know what if anything stops you from driving down the road on the AKL end.
