BREAKING NEWS... The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios as been extended through Wednesday, January 6th. Park will be open until 10pm, and the lights will be available from dusk until 9:00pm. WooHoo!!!!

I guess that will mess with some plans for those wanting to be there for the final lights out. Great news for others trying to see them one more time though!

Hmmm... good point. There are a lot of folks coming to town for the Marathon Weekend who will be excited to be able to see them on Wednesday night.

My daughter and a friend that's never been, arrived last night. They went to HS today, since it was the only chance to see the lights. If this had been announced yesterday, they would have went to Epcot instead, to ride Sorin', and went to HS on another day, especially since this morning had the extra magic hour, which we try to avoid

Yeah, it's nice for those who didn't make plans to see them before they were going to be dismantled, but it sure can frost your cookies when you've made plans to avoid the crush associated with the "last days of the lights."

We were there last night and it was a complete zoo. I've never wanted out of an area of a park so bad in my life.

cast were informed last night that they had been scheduled to work lights so it was a last minute decision.
Cast Members have also been allowed to enter the park to see the lights for the from Monday to Wednesday, they had been blocked out during most of the holiday season. Also CM are able to park at the Television lot which will mean that the parking lot might close again due to capacity

Just spent all day waiting around praying it wouldn't keep raining just to see the "last dance". Wish I would have known this won't actually be the last night. Grrr

Great for everyone else. Stinks for me!! I planned pretty much my entire trip around tonight being the last night for them. Not that I wanted to be there to see them turned off/on for the last time but today was supposed to be our arrival day. We moved that to yesterday so we could be here for the lights and soarin. Made it to the lights around 6 and was through by around 6:30. It was packed, cold, and wet! I definitely would have waited for another night and spent more time at Epcot.

Was there tonight. I think with the announcement and the cold rain, a lot of people stayed away. It was very manageable to walk through, even though it was really cold. I got teary eyed when they shut them off tonight. I can't imagine how bad I'll be on Wednesday.

Yay!!! I'll be arriving by train from NYC early Wednesday and i am so happy to be able to see the Osborne Lights one last time:worship::wizard::banana: Thank You!!

I'll have to go solo as my DH will be at his conference:confused3 If anyone else is going solo and would like to meet up and look at the lights, i'd love the company

I heard you the first time.

(Or is there an echo in here?) ;)

Wonder how this effects the group who were arranging to be there when they were turned off
