Opinion: Order of Park reservation and which would you do multiple times

Here’s my quandary . . . What are people doing who have more than one trip booked? For example, I have a trip in August and one in December. Do I work on August first? Do I work on December first because of holidays? Do I do the weekends for both trips first and then fill in the weekdays? I never had to book more than one trip worth of FP at one time, so I am not sure which way to go.
You have to book one day at a time so I would just book my more important park days first and go from there. So if I wanted to be at MK on a special occasion day, I would try that first. Or if I wanted to be somewhere on a major holiday, I would book that first, etc.

We're two adults with 7 day tickets. We were really doing 4 full park days and the rest were half days or less. We plan on doing DHS for 2 days, AK for 2 days, Epcot for 2 days and MK for one (Holding out hope for a VAH event during our trip for more MK time).

Our order will most likely be MK, AK, DHS, Epcot, DHS, AK, Epcot.

I think by order, OP means which parks should she request first. Like when you are making FP you try to get the popular ones first.
Oh, you’re right. I read that wrong. In that case I will book HS first since I feel that will be the hardest? Then probably MK, AK and finally Epcot

Right, and that is where park capacity comes into play, but also need to consider popularity of each park. Mk has more capacity than AK, but it may also be more popular to book. I'm just going to go in order of the days I have.

The first part of my stay is at BWV, so I plan to try to book those 4 days at Epcot and DS, then I will move on to other parks for the rest of my stay elsewhere.

I read that wrong too. Two of are days are birthdays and set in stone, so I'm doing those first and just working with what I can for the rest. Besides those two days, I'm trying to remain flexible.

merged several threads to this one. We cannot have a thread open for each guests scenario (1 day, 5 day, 14 day visit) here in one place you will be able to compare notes and opinions

I am planning 2 days at Epcot and Animal Kingdom and 3 days at MGM (sorry, hollywood studios) and 3 days at Magic Kingdom. I am sure I want 3 days at MGM but was kind of torn with the other choice. It's tough. Normally I would do more than 1 park per day or hop to wherever we missed something. Hoping I make the right decisions.

Hi, I am the one who started the thread about how guests are going to request Park Reservations, go in order by day, or pick days that may have more importance. One person mentioned size of the park.

Sorry if it was asked in another thread. I just didn't see it.
Thanks

no worries. It is hard to keep up with all the threads, especially when they have similar topics. But if you ask your question in a thread that's already open talking about similar things you will get better answers

Back in the old days, this last winter, I would request FP's on the popular rides 1st. So now I wondering about park reservations.

I'm thinking I should request the reservation depending on how busy the park could be on a particular day.
I will request Tues, Wed parks before Thanksgiving 1st. Then I'm meeting friends, will request those park/ride dates. Then I'll book MK, then the rest of the trip.

(One good thing, I will get to walk thru the stand by line for Flight of Passage!)

How are you going to approach this?

Positive responses please. I am embracing the new Disney World.

Thanks!
It's a personal decision but in order of popularity I would say a tie between MK and DHS and then AK and finally Epcot, even with this Taste of Food and Wine Festival Epcot will be the last choice for many
People love doing MK on Monday or Saturday so those days have usually been very busy for MK I would leave MK for any other day
DHS has all the new stuff so everyone will want to go there and with RotR, MFSR MMRR and SDD not having fp or single rider or virtual queue it will mean standby and with shortened ride capacity SDD willl be the longest line you will see in that park, along with how unpredictable RotR is. MFSR should fair ok as well as MMRR

As others have stated, I am going to try to get my MK and Hollywood Studios days first confirmed then go for the others. Those are the two that most likely will be the hardest to get and the two I want to visit the most on this trip. I plan to go to MK twice.

The more i look at the attractions and entertainment available the more I think DHS will be the hardest reservation to get

6 park days August 1-7
MK-2
Epcot-2
DHS-1
AK-1

I am not a Star Wars fan. I‘ve visited DHS several times since Galaxy’s Edge opened, ridden all of the new rides and, nope, still not a fan.

It was harder choosing between Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Epcot won by a hair due to Food and Wine and the AK shows not running.

Trip scheduled for Dec 24 - Jan1 and curious for opinions: with the potential of fireworks, parades and shows still being cancelled, where would you try to reserve for Christmas day and NYE? Wondering if I should try to reserve MK/Epcot just incase they do fireworks..

No desire to do MMRR?

That's what i would do

Definitely going to try to ride MMRR! I‘ll probably skip SWGE, hopefully that will free up time for Mickey and Minnie 😊
I just wish I knew how Food and Wine is going to work with social distancing. I’m a huge fan of the festivals but........
