$160.00 with tax for me.
Got in queue at 5:58 am, checkout was 6:08am.
What time zone?

I do wonder if this is a special AP price and they will be 30 or 40 more when they go on sale to the general public.

Got on queue around 8 after trying a few times after midnight
Had to redo my profile to get in. I was not a happy camper. Worked, did paperwork and napped. My phone hadn't logged me out so I woke up with 16 minutes to go.
About par for theme park IT , they'd be sweeping aisles between cubicles anywhere else.

Actually pretty much on par for most IT - its all about the lowest bidder these days.
Leadership would rather hire 5 or 6 people outside the US who cost the same as 1 person here.
Of those 5 or 6 there will be some really good developers - but also some really bad ones - quantity over quality unfortunately.

Got back through the queue for my dad, got back to the purchase link, right back to a blank screen. 3.5 hours later, I give up. Wish I could get my money back for my opening day ticket, cause I'm not going without him.

You can call the ticketing number and change the date. I accidentally booked the wrong date after being up at HHN and then waking every hour until 5am to check, I can’t imagine how I got the date wrong🤣 I called and switched. This was for the week after opening. He could buy his online, and then you could switch to that date. Don’t go to guest services in park. They can’t change the date, only the ticketing phone numbers can.

I didn't mean the old parks are worthless. What I meant was that people who are excited about EPIC have probably been to US and IOA dozens of times. They want to see what is new at EPIC. And with the crowds, they'll need multiple days. I think that's the majority of people who want to visit EPIC in May/June/July.

We went to Universal Orlando last year, and Universal Hollywood this year. We want to see what's new at EPIC. And 'forcing' us to visit the parks we were just at for 2 days just to see EPIC for 1 is not what we want.

The ideal situation is to stay at Helios and visit the park multiple times. Why even stay at Helios at all if you need to bus to the other parks and don't get express passes at them?

And we cannot buy 1 day EPIC tickets right now. Nobody can. Tomorrow, we can't either, as we don't have APs as we only visit every other year.
why not just wait for 1 day tickets?
I can't get AP tickets either and am not paying for a package or multi day tickets because we are already going to Universal May 3-16th so don't want to pay again.

They will offer 1 day tickets later on. No one is being forced to buy anything now - you can if you want, or you can choose to wait.

That is what I am doing as well... my only concern is they will they be more expensive than the AP tickets and if so will there be an AP discount

They will likely be a little more expensive but I'm ok with that. My AP's aren't activated and being from Australia I can't just come to Orlando to do that. I just have to wait and hope for the best to get a day in the time frame we are in Orlando, or hope for a soft opening availability while we are onsite between the 3rd and 16th.
