I think it will be priced as much as a standard one day one park ticket, which currently is, if I'm not mistaken, $178 on the priciest days, $139 on low season, so 178 on opening week.

I don't think they'll charge more than that, lowering it later they would be shamed on social media.
And no meaningful discount for AP, their advantage will be to be able to buy them in advance, before anyone else (who might miss out because they're sold out).

AP's already get an advantage - this is how I think about it.

Right now a 1 day EPIC ticket costs over $500 (with 2 'free' days nobody wants at the older parks).

I would guess the AP single day (at least initially) would be around $249-$299. That's a huge savings.

The ideal vacation would be like 2-3 nights in Helios and 3-4 days at EPIC. Right now that costs $3000-$4000.

While you may feel this way, a majority of people do not. The other parks are certainly not empty. If people don't want to go to the other parks, they're welcome to wait and buy actual 1 day Epic tickets. I think it's interesting that the older parks apparently have zero interest for you, but you think you'll need 3-4 days at Epic.

I didn't mean the old parks are worthless. What I meant was that people who are excited about EPIC have probably been to US and IOA dozens of times. They want to see what is new at EPIC. And with the crowds, they'll need multiple days. I think that's the majority of people who want to visit EPIC in May/June/July.

We went to Universal Orlando last year, and Universal Hollywood this year. We want to see what's new at EPIC. And 'forcing' us to visit the parks we were just at for 2 days just to see EPIC for 1 is not what we want.

The ideal situation is to stay at Helios and visit the park multiple times. Why even stay at Helios at all if you need to bus to the other parks and don't get express passes at them?

And we cannot buy 1 day EPIC tickets right now. Nobody can. Tomorrow, we can't either, as we don't have APs as we only visit every other year.

I visit Orlando every other year, so I am interested in thebold parks as well. But I want at least two days in EU. One day to rope drop for rides and one to rope drop the Nintendo area ton collect all the coins and try the interactive elements. I think I'm not alone, a ticket package for 4 days, 2 old parks and 2 EU would sell incredibly well. Make it only purchaseable with a 4 night hotel stay and Universal gets a great moneymaker.

The servers are broke right now. I attempted to get on at 516 it said I was in queue until 535 and could never get to the ticket page. I see now that the queue is paused.

156 is pretty good - wonder if this is a special AP price

As others said the queue is broken and they never sent an email to tell us they were starting at 4AM.

It looks like opening day sold out at 5:41AM - so I just missed it - that is when they updated that message it all went to pot.

BTW: I did not really expect an email - they are terrible about sending those emails in advance of AP opportunities - they are always way late.

I got opening day at 6:01. But my dad, who got into the queue about 30 sec behind me, ended up in a glitch in the Matrix and had to start over. He's currently sitting in the paused queue :(

Oh man I was actually awake at 4am because my cat thinks it’s breakfast time. I didn’t even check because I thought it wouldn’t be until 7am.

Yeah - I was just laying in bed for at least 45 minutes before I got up to check - I think most assumed 7AM

Yeah - I was going to wait and see even though they posted at 5:41 that they were already sold out.

the queue is open again. We'll see how long it actually takes to get through. :rotfl:

Got back through the queue for my dad, got back to the purchase link, right back to a blank screen. 3.5 hours later, I give up. Wish I could get my money back for my opening day ticket, cause I'm not going without him.

That is unfortunate - at some point you should be able to adjust that to another date - not what you want I know
