I have been on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes. For those that booked successfully, how long does it take???
The June 17 cruise this year is still at opening day prices. They are even offering GT, and other discounts that are thousands lower. I would take a look at this years prices and compare. Finally got a quote for the June 28th Norwegian Fjords/ Iceland (everything above Deck 7 in a Cat 5A seems to be sold out)
Me and a 6 year old-
2A- $6479 pp + $258.62 taxes and fees
$13,216.62
No Ins, No OBB
Can anyone, who has done this cruise in the past, tell me if these are normal opening day prices? My TA thought it would be much lower. I was willing to go down to a Cat 7 obstructed even...but the price for that is still ridiculous.
Thanks. Wow! They are A LOT lower than today's price!! I would be willing to do the guarantee verandah!!!The June 17 cruise this year is still at opening day prices. They are even offering GT, and other discounts that are thousands lower. I would take a look at this years prices and compare.

It's hard to say. The cruise was earlier this year so that could be a reason. I just don't think they can sell all the rooms at these prices. When the holds expire you will see a lot more rooms become available. I booked the 7 day Baltic, but now I'm thinking holding out to see if the 10 day Baltic has discounts. We were able to get a discount on the Iceland cruise this year. I would never pay what they are currently asking for the 10 day Baltic so I lose nothing by waiting. I booked the Iceland cruise opening day, and when I saw it wasn't selling I cancelled and waited for the discounts. That's always an option too.Thanks. Wow! They are A LOT lower than today's price!! I was hoping that I could reserve today and then rebook on my Fantasy sailing with a discount..but at this price I won't even consider it. Is it typical for a lower price to be offered later on? I actually have some hope!!!!
EDIT--- Is a GT verandah room a navigator's verandah?
Thank you!!! I'll shelf it for now..but won't give up completely yet! I feel so much better than I did last night/this morning now that I've read your response!!!It's hard to say. I was in hold 25 minutes earlier and had to hang up. Now I'm back on hold!
I have a placeholder so I need to call. In hindsight, I should have booked the placeholder with a dummy cruise before the new cruises were released so all I had to do was modify my cruise which could have been done online. Maybe next time!
