Open Table reservations - Disney Springs

Has anyone used Open Table to book reservations at Disney Springs? Open Table has a better time for the Boathouse than Disney Dining does for my party of 8. Does anyone see any problems with booking under Open Table?

No. Always use OpenTable for DS when it is an option.

I use it as well with no issues. Only "twist" is remembering the reservation as it will not show up in your agenda on the My Disney Experience app.

I use it too! I loved that I was able to espicially use open table before boathouse began taking reservations thru Disney. Then I did the same and used it for morimoto.

I love open table!! We're using it for Morimoto in a couple of weeks.

Used Open Table to book Raglan Road on our last trip. No problem whatsoever.

Definitely use OpenTable! They usually have more times available and you don't need to give them a credit card! I use opentable at home as well. There is zero risk. As others have said, the reservations won't show up in MDE, but they will send you e-mail reminders and you can always manually input the info into your MDE daily itineraries under the "Notes" section.

Up to the restaurant. It's usually 3-6 months.
