Well, I have the morning after blues (Disney that is)... so I caught up while eating 2 bowls or raisin bran and tried not to think things like... "We should be in line for the bus right now" and "Where can a I get a cinnamon roll the size of my head this time of the day?"


So who hates February? and why? It is a short month. And 3 of my 4 kids have their birthdays in a two week span in Feb. That seemed like a goog idea (having a "birthday" season) but actually it is a huge pain in the dairy air. ( I had t-shirt once that said "Wisconisn: come enjoy our dairy air".... but was told in high school that it was offensive are you offended?) Anyway- having all the kids birthdays together is just plain overwhelming. Speaking of lost cakes: The girls were given the most delish cupcakes at LTT but were too full to eat them and I dutifully toted them all day and then back to the room and we never got a chance to eat them... I ate one bite as I packed to go. Sigh. It was goog. Really really goog. Now I wish I had one.

Thanks for missing me! I thought of you all as I strolled through the parks. Nab traveled home yesterday as well but had a super long day beginning with a 5 am wake up call to go to customs and wasn't even flying out of MCO till like 6 pm!!! (You have to watch those Canadians every minute.... they are always trying to do something sneaky like bring me some maple syrup but those funny guys at TSA objected)

TwinkieMama: WELCOME HOME! I hope you had a fantastic time, and that the Time Dilation Effect kicked in, so your vacation felt like at least two or three weeks!

Bonnie: Northern Virginia sure has a lot to offer. In October we stayed at the Massanutten Resort and did a lot of neat day trips from there, Monticello, Mitchie Tavern, Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive, etc.

UMA: Hope your weekly Sunday School lesson goes well today. What is this Sunday's "treat of the week?" We didn't get out for church today. I don't think the plows came until about the time we're usually on our way.

twelve noon here in Maine and its kinda chilly this morning...sun is bright though......Megara is not messing around out side today......she hits and comes running....
Hubby and I are still working on removing floor in kitchen....before we have some one come and lay a new floor ....the old one has to be removed....still not sure what color or design we want yet....but working on it...

e. I am quite sure Lil Grumpy will KNOW how to handle it if you play footsie with him. I happen to know that in addition to being extremely intelligent and articulate he is also a very good lookin man so this type of thing happens to him often.
f. Start ploppin. As long as it's full of Diet Coke.

Lil G, if I had THAT much pixie dust, my cousin would have invited me to Florida by now!!

Sounds like you had a great trip, Twinkie! I hate February, but don't want to be a downer and will spare you the details. Suffice it to say that February has always seemed much longer to me than its 28 or 29 days. I think part of it is that that is when winter weariness sets in for me.

I should always plan a trip somewhere warm in February to make it go by faster! Now, if only my cousin would come through . . . Or I could jump on the Uma Disneyland bandwagon too!!!

Not liking the sound of the Nabs' travel day. Hoping they didn't have any air travel delays.

Twink, was your t-shirt like this? I have a post card with the dairy air sentiment on it hanging in my office!

We're having a big issue here in Michigan with some of the confined animal feeding operations (factory farms) that have moved into the state. Think of the implications of several thousand cows in one location (((shudder)))). I'd much rather see reasonably sized herds of cows grazing in the field.

AND I just got DH to sign off on a new pair of CROCS for the babe. Well, he's getting his brother old pair and the brother is getting a new pair. The babe threw his out at Walmart before Christmas and I couldn't find it anywhere!

Good morning all.

Yes I have just got up.

We were suppose to be home at 9:30 last night and didn't get home until 4:00 am. Snow storm in Buffalo and got to turn around and go to Balitmore for 4 hours. It was a long day since we were up at 5 for immigration Saturday morning.

I got to meet Twinkie. Her kids are adorable and tiny. So is Twinkie. I forgot to get a picture of us. We met late and she had to run. It was great to met you Twinkie!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have to go catch up....
