I sure can relate to your comment about wishing I was back to the size I was in high school . . . or college . . . when I thought I was fat!

I made dinner tonight. Well, I microwaved dinner.
We had leftover chicken, broccoli and asparagus.
And later, when I'm starving, I made some muffins that only have 22 grams of carbs. Waaaaay too much for me to have, but I was really craving something with carbs.
I'll try to resist.
But they're there if I need them. I haven't eaten much today at all, so I don't think it will put me over my 600 calorie limit.
I guess I should post this on the wish thread, huh?

Well don't know if he put the gel in his hair or not? He said he did but it couldn't have been much because his hair wasn't sticky or hard. He is my joker that is for sure. He knows how to push my buttons. Funny part it was written in his agenda for school to remind himself but I didn't sign off yesterday hubby did and didn't mention it to me. I would have hid the gel....

All this spring weather has made this thread slow. Everyone must be out enjoying the weather.

MommyP, If you don't know what he is then you should be glad he is around. It is a perfectly harmless corn snake and they love to eat rodents (as well as lizards, amphibians and birds).

No Nab, I didn't. There isn't a whole lot I can do as these are the only type shoes I can wear. The shoes have to tie as the brace fits inside of the shoe. Also, the shoe has to be flat. I also need a certain type of shoe to keep my balance. Norwegian can allow it or we'll be visiting the complaints desk for sure. When I'm wearing pants, you can't see it and there have been times that ignorant old coots have screamed at me for parking in a handicap spot ( with my permit). Of course when I walk, I limp, so that sometimes shuts them up, but I've been know to pull up my pant leg and stare at them.

Nab - once I reach my goal weight (in a hundred more pounds or so), I think they'll increase my calories a little.
It's not too bad when I eat out. I get full really quickly. I just have to eat mostly lean protein and a few bites of vegetables.

I guess you'll have to wait until you see the pictures to find out just how spiky DS's hair is!

Celery just reminded me that it was your trip report that I read. I loved it! It was such a touching story about you and your stepson bonding! Totally awesome!

Also, Celery just informed me that you teach a bio lab at the college. YUCK. I don't know how I did it, but I got by without dissecting anything in High School...but then had to do a rat in college...my last year in fact. It was gross...but interesting at the same time.


I just know that science work is not for me!!!!

Celery and Tammy, this is the quiet time of day. People making dinner etc. There is never much posting between 5 and 9. Im taking a quick break from cleaning and getting dinner ready now.
