Open House for Nursery?

We are cruising on the Fantasy in about 2 1/2 weeks and I have some time reserved for my 2yo girl in the It's a Small World Nursery. I want to take a look at the facilities shortly after boarding to get her comfortable with her surroundings before we drop her off during the week. I see open houses scheduled for the kids clubs but not for the nursery. Is there open house hours available that first day?

Yes, the nursery will be open for you to go check it out. It's great! We were on the Fantasy Oct 2015 with our then 1 year old and used it quite often.

Open house for the nursery is only usually available on the first day, usually up until the drill. After that it's available for drop off, and once there's kids in care (non CM) adults aren't allowed in.

On our cruise they offered open house hours during the entire cruise in addition to embarkation day where you can go in and play with your child. It was usually in the morning before the nursery officially opened. Each cruise's offerings are different though. When you enter your cabin you'll find a paper highlighting all the offerings for the week in the nursery and around the ship that is geared towards your child's age.

On our Fantasy cruise it was open for open house for an hour before the nursery opened in the morning. They did another open house when we had a bad weather day with lots of cancelled excursions.

We booked nursery time for right at opening on the first day and I took her to the open house before, so that we could have a longer transition before I left. It was great. My child was just 2 and had a fine time.
