As an aside - it was honestly really hard to tell in person. If you asked me before the first parade, I would've said it seemed undersold - lines were pretty short, and I got a lot done right away. After the first parade, it felt like a typically busy DCA day. But if I had to guess (based on my own limited experience), it felt gently lighter than it did when I was there two years ago. (It seemed like all of the ride lines were short all night, which wasn't the case two years ago. Plus, I managed to get most everything I wanted to do done relatively early - I don't know that I needed the full five hours like I did two years ago.)Just after 6PM, Disneyland listed the OBB as sold out! Unclear it tonight sold out or if they pulled it from sale. Would seem like they’d keep tickets up for an hour or so…

I wouldn't be afraid to pick that night again in the future. (I feel like they probably over-priced it more than anything else.)
What day did you go out of curiosity?I was shocked at how busy OBB was! I was not at all prepared. I get some people love it but for us it was a one and done. We aren’t that interested in characters so it’s just not our thing. I thought it would be more like AH in WDW.

After hours. It’s a ticketed event at WDW. It’s mostly just lower wait times for rides and they have food for free like popcorn, ice cream etc. We are mostly ride people so we thought the party would have lower wait times for rides and we didn’t realize that treat trails were such long waits. We actually didn’t go in a single trail. I admit we misunderstood the party. We got dressed up and that part was fun, but the rest was lost on us. It was an us problem, not a party problem. But it was so crowded and it was hard to even walk. Very different from our AH experience. We just assumed it was more like that and we were wrong. I wonder if we would like MNSSHP? We have never been to that either. What is AH? MNSSHP? The events are similar but OBB is far more immersive/ advanced. Of course, if you’re solely interested in rides/ attractions with some trick-or-treating. MNSSHP will be a better choice. Or better yet, skip and buy a bag of candy from the store.
