We had an interesting experience booking through the DVC Member site. We wanted a few nights at the Disneyland Resort, and entered our first and second choices. Online they say it will be up to 3 business days for a reply. While we got our first request, it was almost 5 days later.
We called Member Services to add another night at the Disneyland Hotel, and it took about 15 minutes to complete that transaction, which seemed overly long. The not very magical CM on the other end of the phone seemed angry, or frustrated. I got the extra night I wanted, but the whole process was not what I have had over the phone in the past.
It was almost that they didn't want to honor my request. I was so unnerved, I didn't stay on the phone to take the survey. Very weird experience.
