Online ADR's possibly working

just tried adding 10 zeros for the phone number and that didn't work either :(

I tried 10 zeros, 1234567890, and backwards, dashes between dots between, my phone number with and without int code, dropping 1st numbers & last numbers, Biz number, home number.
Probably tried about 100 numbers and still can't get in. Wish they would email me a solution, I know what Disney are like with emails, it will take 5 days then a standard reply that is no use.:rotfl2:

Yes, Ive made 2 bookings today, I only booked our holiday last week, and we fly out on 16th July, but Ive got a reservation at Rainforest cafe in AK, and breakfast on the 20th July at CP in MK :) I used the hotel phone number and it worked fine

Have toyed with the idea of calling them but don't want to be given the runaround and another expensive phone bill
 
I'm 100% amazed I managed to access the site as I've had problems inputting my telephone number on a Disney site before. This time I used my mobile number (which I haven't used before) with no country code or the first zero and inserted dashes between so it started with a 7 and looked like this: 789-123-4567...

I couldn't be bothered to find my DVC confirmation number on this occasion so didn't go that route...

Ok, WTH is going on???? I called Walt Disney Travel, who I made my booking for hotel and park passes only, I was on hold for a little bit, then someone answered and I explained that I was after my reservation number, she put me on hold and then she popped back with the number... no problem... or so I thought!!!

So, I go on the website and try it out and it is saying the telephone number is invalid and that they can't retrieve the information???? Any thoughts? This is SOOOO frustrating as I really don't want to miss out on reservations that I have to call for if people can book 90+10 an hour before me. GRRRR! :mad:

Come on, people, there must be a solution!

Ah that may be slightly different though if you made your adr's online, I made mine over the phone a while ago, I just would like to see them online for a bit of peace of mind more than anything else seeing as I had loads of problems booking them, just want to make sure they are there if you know what i mean
 
you don't need to use your reservation number..

even people who are staying offsite can book the ADRs online.

I think that there may be a couple of different conversations going on here at cross purposes.

As I understand it, you do not need to put in your reservation number or a matching phone number if you just want to make a reservation within the 90 day window. But if you want to make it within the '+10' window then you have to log in to your resort reservation, which requires your US reservation number and the phone number which is associated with that in your reservation.

I have tried this on the ADR system but am having no luck BUT I am not at my ADR date yet so don't know if that's the problem or whether it's the reservation info???

There's just so many different ways of trying phone numbers but I don't know how much time to spend doing this if the problem is that I am not at 90 days??? :rolleyes1

I, too, am outside of the 90+10 window. So, it may be that logging in won't work until then. BUT - you should also be able to retrieve your reservation elsewhere on the site (so regardless of the 90 day window). I'm logged in to the site (with my username and password) - click on 'My Disney Vacation' (top right) and then 'Resort Reservations' - then scroll down to about halfway down where it says 'Retrieve your Reservation'. This throws up exactly the same errors as if you do it through the dining pages.

I can't believe that it's this difficult...!

Right i rang openride earlier today and asked to be put through to dining reservations.

I explained the problem that i wasn't able to retrieve my ADR's online because of the phone number and she just didn't get what i was saying. I asked her what format they had my phone number down as and she said in the format of 01777777777 no dots, dashes, 0044 or anything just my phone number. She couldn't see what the problem was and so in the end i just gave up. She even asked why i wanted to retrieve them.

Rang back again about half hour later and this time i was told that there was no phone number linked to my reservations whatsoever. I told her that i had spoken to someone earlier who had said there was but she was adamant there was no number showing.

ARRRRRGGGGG :headache: I officially give up!!!!!!!!

It's so frustrating and annoys me even more that they sorted out our Honeymoon Registry straight away so that my friends and family could spend lots of money and we are all having so many probs with this... it just makes me cross that when it comes down to it $$$$$ is all that counts :sad2:

Just emailed disney uk - asking what phone number is attached to my booking as I can't log into the US site (I have my US res number) to book my ADRS online at 90+10 in a couple of weeks.

If you get a resonse, been waiting nearly 2 days for a resonse and nothing yet, they are not the best company at replying to emails. They probably have a backlog of days now all wanting phone number sorting.:goodvibes
 
As someone else said I think there are two completely different issues here.

People who have not booked through Disney UK are having trouble entering their telephone number in the US format, but after a bit of perseverance and playing round with the numbers they are able to make a reservation.

Then there are the people like myself who booked through Disney UK who can't retrieve their reservation through the US site to book 90+10 ADR's and I could be completely wrong, but the problem lies with us not having a 12 digit US reservation number, only a 6 digit UK one? And this also appears to be the case for DVC people or anyone that booked through a travel agent as well?

Can anyone who booked through Disney UK on a non-flight package also confirm that they aren't able to access the US system or if you did book a non-flight package through Disney UK and are able to make 90+10 ADRS's how you did it?

I booked thru Disney.co.uk got a 6 digit res# but rang dining reservations and they gave me my US 12 digit res#, still doesn't help me accessing the site to retrieve either my hotel reservation or dining reservations as the site won't accept my phone # in any format.
1st thing to do is get your 12 digit US res#, then some people are succesful with their phone# others are not.
 
I have my 12 digit number at long last and was hoping to be able to book 90+10 online with it, but like everyone here I can't get it to accept any number. I know the number I geave to the TA when I booked so I assume that is the number linked to my booking but it won't work.

Like someone else said, it might only work at the 90+10 point but I'm not risking waiting then finding out it doesn't, so unless Disney replies I'll be ringing too book and then changing ressies if I don't get the ones I want online.
 
They seem to have an issue with phone numbers in general. I have called three times this week to complete my ADRs and each time I was asked for my phone number, as it wasn't on their system. :confused3
 
Is anyone else having a problem adding children?

I can only do dummy bookings with me as a single person. When I add 2 children I get this message;

To make your reservation, please enter the requested information:
Please provide the age of each child in your party.


But it doesn't have anywhere to put their ages. No boxes appear or anything.
