One Day Tickets

We (DH, myself, DS16, DS12 and DS10) will be in Orlando for 2 days and have decided to spend 1 day at MGM. Are there any discounted 1 day tickets (1 park only)? I realize that the MYW tickets are the most reasonable for 7 days + and then add non-expiry, but we can't afford to plunk down that kind of money right now. Any ideas?

The only thing that I found that might help you would be this...

Disney Visa Offer...

If you sign up for a Disney Visa and you are approved and you use the card 1 time, you receive a free 1 Day Base Magic Your Way ticket.

That's about the only discount I can think of...unless you want to chance eBay and maybe purchase an old parkhopper...but, I wouldn't recommend that....

Thanks - I kind of figured as much. We are trying to pay down some debt (especially on CCs) so I don't think I should open a new one right now. The kids want to do DisneyQuest on the other day and I know I can get discounted tickets through TicketMania. I definately don't want to do ebay. Thanks for the info.

There's always a timeshare presentation or two to get enough tickets.

We'll be arriving Thursday late afternoon, MGM on Friday, Golf (DH and FIL) and DisneyQuest on Sat, then leave on Sun. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we can't take the extra time to go to a presentation. If we had more time I think I'd consider it though - we own 3 weeks in Ft. Myers Beach so we'd have no problem saying "no".

I know that you use to save a little bit by purchasing your tickets online on the Disney website. Then you pick them up at the will-call counter.
