One day/One Park Pass questions

Hi all-
Does anyone know if I purchase the one day/one park pass at the gate say at the MK, and I want to purchase the next day right then and there for the $5 discount, it that next day ticket good for another park besides MK? IN other words, I know I can't park hop on the one day/one park, but in order to get the $5 discount you have to purchase the second (and third if you want it) the same day as you purchase the first ticket. If I am buying the tickets at MK, will the next days' ticket be for MK or for any park I want? Sorry to sound so confusing; I didn't know how to phrase this question!!

I'm almost positive that it doesn't matter where you purchase the pass, but once you go into the gates of a park, then that is the park you must remain at.

The one-day/one-park ticket is just that--one park per day. If you purchase the second day option, you are not required to use it to visit the same park as you did on day one.

You can buy up to 3 days worth or one day/one park passes at the same time and receive $5 off on day 2 and I think $10 off on day 3. So, 1 day is approx $50, 2 days is approx $95, 3 days is approx. $135. They will put all the days on 1 pass for you, and you do not have to use the days at the same parks, but you can if you choose to.

...you purchase a multi-day pass? They never expire, and you will be able to park-hop (which it sounds like you want to do, anyway!)...just a suggestion

Thanks for your suggestion. We usually do purchase the hoppers, but this is a last minute "emergency Disney Trip" for stress relief, due to the fact that I suddenly lost my Mom last month and my dh lost his Dad 2 weeks ago. We all decided we needed some "pixie dust" to help us along; hence the trip. We are doing a low-key trip with mostly pooltime and only 2 parks. I don't want to lay out the money for the hoppers so I was checking into the one day passes. Thanks for your help tho!
