We have a 13 day trip planned at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov with 10 day MYW tickets. My parents have just asked us if we would mind if they came to stay at our rental house with us for 3 nights during our trip for a Florida trip they are planning. They said they thought it would be fun to spend a day with the kids at MK and then they would do a day at EP on their own. They offered to babysit the first night they arrive so dh and I could have an evening out on our own. :)

Where should we go? What should we do? I'm so excited! They are looking over my itinerary now and will let me know soon when they would be there so I can make an ADR. We will not have park hoppers, so we would most likely go to DTD or to a resort for dinner unless the night happened to fall on a planned Epcot day. Right now I am thinking California Grill, which we ate at on our honeymoon, or Wolfgang Puck or Victoria & Albert's. I am a vegetarian and dh eats fish as well. Suggestions for dinner and other evening activities?

It will depend on where and if you can get ADR's any more. Many are gone. But for a great romantic dinner that has great fish think about Artist Point at WL, Coral Reef in Epcot and Narcoossee's in the Grand Floridian. I have taken DW for special occasions to these and have not been disappointed.

we did epcot as our last date night at disney
and despite what people say we did find it a nice adult dinner at coral reef

your at disney so make sure its a disney date night and not something you can just do at home

Nothing compares to Victoria & Alberts. My second choice would be Il Mulino. Although Il Mulino doesn't have age restrictions, it's still a more adult type of place.

I say go to Flying Fish and then to Epcot if its a planned Epcot day. Or switch a few things around, and MAKE it an Epcot day! ( ;

We loved our adult dinner at Artist Point. If you don't mind getting dressed up and money is no issue, then I would go to V&A for sure. I can't wait to eat there one day!

If it is an EPCOT day, then I vote for somewhere there or around the Boardwalk then a walk to the WS for a cocktail and Illuminations.

Have fun!

Nothing compares to Victoria & Alberts.

If you can swing it, do this. No kids. Elegant atmosphere. Superb service. Exquisite food. No question--Go to V & A. This is where we will be dining on our anniversary/date night in November.

Another vote for V&A...it will be truly special and memorable. A TRUE adults only evening!! You won't regret it!!

I'm going to vote for Bistro de Paris. Beautiful view, elegant service, few to no children, (there is no kid's menu). And nothing is more romantic than dining beneath the shadow of the eiffle tower. Its less expensive than V&A's and just as wonderful.

I'm torn between suggesting Victoria & Alberts and California Grill. V&A's would definitely be special.. but at CG (depending on reservation time) you can enjoy dinner and then watch Wishes Fireworks from the outside deck while having a drink. very romantic! :wizard:
