I called today to add on an extra do to my disney vacation in July and was put on a waiting list. What are the chances I will get the day? anyone had similar experience or advice.

were you trying to add a day at SSR? BWV? BCV? or VWL?

Your chances depend on the resort and the specific day your are trying to add.

For example, the waitlists are likely to be much longer for the BCV (due to the great pool) and for weekdays (Sunday - Thursday nights). If you are trying to get something around the 4th, your chances are probably less than if you are looking towards the end of the month.

Unless you are trying to add a standard view or a guaranteed Boardwalk view, I think your chances are still pretty good. If it were me, I'd have a back up cash ressie, though.

Because of my sons football schedule we had to wait to book a late July/early August trip for Vero Beach. We're doing a two bedroom villa.

A couple of weeks ago I booked 3 out of 7 days. I was placed on a waiting list for the remaining 4 days.

A few of days ago I got a confirmation for another day, so now I am waiting on 3 more days. It's hard to wait, but I think I will get the days I need.
