Hi all,

I'm thinking of planning another trip later this year, but on-site this time around to get that extra magic. :) A few questions.

Do I have it right that from most expensive to least expensive tends to be: GCH, DLH, and then PPH? Or are the last two switched?

Also, as far as the AP rates go, are there regular AP rates, and then special promo rates? (e.g. AP8) If so, what's the discount for them?

Lastly, besides MM every day, what are the other perks?

Thanks!

Also, for the 3-5 deal, do you get an AP discount on top of that?

You're correct on the "pecking order" for prices........
As for the discount with the deal....I have no idea....great question though!!!!

Other perks:
You can charge meals & purchases to your room. You can packages sent to your hotel (so you don't have to carry them around or locker them). If you go during peak times, you get entry to the parks even if they're at capacity. If you stay at the GCH, you can use the special entrance into DCA.

The other perks is just the Disney touches thru-out the rooms, hotel buildings & grounds.

No, you can't stack discounts, otherwise we would be staying at the DLH in July! LOL Your pecking order is correct and the other perks are listed above. I just wanted to let you know that you can't combine discounts. Oh and the special AP rates haven't not been released past the AP8 rate. If you're AP is registered on disneyland.com you can see the hotel availability calender there, it will show you the best prices that are available for your dates. :)

Well I've read here that you can get that package even with an AP (they take out the cost of the tickets from the total), so in a way that's a discount. :)

Or you could book that package and upgrade the tickets to APs, and that's kind of a discount.

Just to be very specific about the sentence you said, not for you b/c I know you know but for newbie lurkers who might take away something different, you get MM every day, during your stay, that MM is offered. Including check in if you're there early enough (like we were last December, checking into PPH at something like 6am and being chosen for Big Kahuna family of the day which gave us a suite for our stay when we were only paying something like 169/night with the AP7 discount) and the day of check out, IF either or both of those dates are MM days. :)
