This really happened: Last night as DW and I were heading for dinner we happened to drive by to young women who were holding cardboard signs which read: "Hungry, Broke and Ugly. Please Help!!!"

Personally I think they were paying a beer bet or something. They didn't seem the type that would normally be begging for money. It was just so unexpected that DW and I both burst out laughing.
