I was able to get 4 hamster from someone who was selling them for 18 a pc. and the 2 bed and 1 blanket cost me 102.00 Oh boy! Not what I wanted to do but 10yr. old DD want them for Xmas so here I go. I got 2 accessories this morning on TRU before they sold out, and thank to you guys I finished up on etoys. Not to bad I had to get this done before we leave for Disney vacation because I knew when I got back I would have NO chance of finding anything. Thanks again for the etoys site. 12 days and counting til we hit the World.

Wow, after reading some of this thread I can't believe people are able to buy 4 or more hamsters at a time. In New Jersey we are limited to 1 possibly 2 depending on the store and if you are lucky to be there when they stock them. Toys R Us are limited to 1 per paying adult and that's if you want to wait at least 1/2 hour in line before the store opens

I was able to score 2 off craigslist today. total of $26!!!! Now i need to find SOMETHING for them to play on at the stores. Where are you guys finding this stuff at? I went to TRU and didnt even see an open spot. Are they sold next to littlest pet shop stuff?

I've been checking two Walmarts. Well, I have my sets now, but I just went to Walmart frequently and eventually I found everything.

I just got one of the starter sets with Patches the hampster yesterday at the opening of toyland and my local Farm & Fleet store. They had only gotten 15 of them in stock and people started lining up at 4:30am! That was the first time that I had seen the starter set around here.

I wondered why they were so much on eToys - I paid $8 apiece at Wal-Mart for the hamsters, and I thought they were $10 at TRU. I thought maybe these were bigger or something, but I didn't see anything to indicate they were jumbo-sized. When I checked earlier, they had hamsters in stock, but no accessories (except the fun house, which seems to be the easiest piece to find).

I work in a Wal-Mart and every day I walk past the ZhuZhu aisle - I haven't seen a hamster in a couple of weeks, but we do have sporadic offerings of accessories.

So I was in wal mart earlier and was buying some birthday presents for my oldest DD. She turns 9 on saturday. I was checking the isle for zhu zhu pets, as usual, and they did have one accessory that I needed. I talked to an employee and they are ON THE TRUCK to be delivered at 4pm. Ugh. Should be unloaded around 6. Great, right? The only problem is that I have soccer pictures to take for a team on post at 6:15. The pictures should take me a little over a half an hour. Will I miss them all? Or should I try going around 5? Ugh. Talk about stress! Over a stupid toy! I better be getting something good from Santa this year for all this trouble... and its not even Halloween yet!

Advice?
