Tonight!!! Finally a new show that I love. The only other one that can get me this excited is LOST and I have to wait another 4 months for that!! At least I will have the crazy antics of The Office to keep me busy for the rest of this year. DVR is set.

Dang, it was a long summer.

Okay, now I have to figure out what we are going to do for dinner. Mmmm, there is the Chicken pot pie in the frig (BORING!!) or maybe some take out? Now I just have to convince DH. Wonder if the office premier is enough of a celebration?

I just discovered this show over the summer. Bought all 4 seasons on DVD, watched them all, and almost needed surgery from busting my gut.

I can't WAIT for the new season.

I'm gonna post this on both Office threads because it is so cute!

I just returned from Target and on the $1.00 aisle they have all kinds of The Office related goodies with the characters faces and sayings on them. Some of the things were writing tablets, post it notes, mugs, mouse pads, a stress ball of Dwight's head, a small dry erase board, pens - all for $1.00 each!! Ya gotta check it out.

I had a prediction when I heard that Angela Kinsey was pregnant, I thought that would tie into the show somehow with either Andy or Dwight. However, she's already had the baby, so I don't think that will work.

I really hope Dwight/Angela are back together now. I don't think Jim and Pam are engaged yet, I think that's something they'd wait and show on the show.

I'm so excited for tonight's episode! I bought some of the Office supplies at Target. Mine didn't have the mugs. I bought a Michael Scott mouse pad, Dwight note pad, Michael pens and several magnetic list pads that say "from the desk of Ryan Howard- I am corporate". LOL!
When dh saw my Michael mouse pad he said "I'm getting jealous." Maybe it has to do with my 27" by 40" Get Smart poster with Steve Carell.

in our house we refer to Carell as my boyfriend! It makes DD11 roll her eyes!!

My all time favorite Office moments, which I've probably posted here before but it's worth doing it again:

When Michael hit Meredith with his car. Oh my gosh, I didn't see that coming and I laughed so hard. The actress who plays Meredith did that so well! Then when Michael told Ryan, "I hit her on company property, with company property. Double Jeopardy, so we're fine."

Ryan said, "I don't think you understand what Jeopardy is."

Michael, "Sorry. What is, 'We're fine?' "

Michael: "I'm not superstitious. But, I am a little stitious."


Also, when Michael was showing the kids the video of him as a child on a TV show, and he said that the cat's name was "Edward R. Meow." Everyone laughed and said that was funny, and you could just tell by the look on Michael's face that he had no idea why, but he agreed with them all. "Yeeah." I love the subtelty of it all!

Heidict, I am totally having a glass of sparkling wine and a huge chunk of angel food cake tonight to celebrate. This day comes only once a year!!

That person has to live under a rock to not know what Dunder Mifflin is. The local news programs, especially NBC cover The Office all the time. For heavens sake, The Office Convention kicked off at da U (University of Scranton) with Al Roker earlier this year.

It was before the show got as big as it is now. It was while it was still a mid season repalcement. I don't know why she didn't know what I was talking about.

But they did have the episode where they were trying to find interns....I should have gone!

I don't know why she didn't explain it, but it appears that she had some sort of chemical peels done. Maybe as a "weight loss" thing? I'm not sure. But I've seen that happen to people when they get too strong of a peel.

I thought that maybe she had a chemical peel done in real life since they didn't write it into the episode & maybe they were on some sort of filming schedule where she had to appear. It did look pretty bad, huh? That's the first thing I noticed. Then a few scenes later she was all clear. Strange.

That was a great premeire! I love all the little things. The fruit in the vending machine! The fruit FLIES in the vending machine!! Dwight SPRAYING the fruit flies in the vending machine!!! This is the stuff that makes this show as great as it is.

Did you know that Lost is playing every Monday for four hours on Sci Fi Channel? Now DH has a chance to catch up to all the excitement. I don't know if you remember, but I spent about an entire month watching all four seasons back in June.
