OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

I'm gonna post this on both Office threads because it is so cute!

I just returned from Target and on the $1.00 aisle they have all kinds of The Office related goodies with the characters faces and sayings on them. Some of the things were writing tablets, post it notes, mugs, mouse pads, a stress ball of Dwight's head, a small dry erase board, pens - all for $1.00 each!! Ya gotta check it out. :rotfl:

Oh cool! I am going to have to see if my Target has this stuff and buy it all. LOL

That was a great premeire! I love all the little things. The fruit in the vending machine! The fruit FLIES in the vending machine!! Dwight SPRAYING the fruit flies in the vending machine!!!:lmao: :lmao: This is the stuff that makes this show as great as it is.

And yay...Toby's not gone.

Was anyone else kind of under-impressed last night? I just thought it would be more, I guess. Maybe because I've been looking forward to it all summer. :confused3 I loved the fruit in the vending machine--between Dwight hammering it in, the bugs, fumigating, etc. And I was thrilled to see Toby at the end (Poor guy). But, I thought the scenes with Pam at school were very stilted. And I thought Ryan coming back as the receptionist was bizarre--although it was almost worth it to see Michael's terrible goatee. Could Ryan have been grovveling any more?

I was thrilled to see Jim propose and I loved how he did it on the spur of the moment. But the whole Angela/Dwight/Andy triangle is already getting on my nerves (I'm beginning to feel sorry for Andy, Blech) and it is only the 1st episode.

I'll need to watch it again online. It'a always better the more you watch it. And even a bad episode of The Office is better than anything else on TV. :)

It was before the show got as big as it is now. It was while it was still a mid season repalcement. I don't know why she didn't know what I was talking about.

But they did have the episode where they were trying to find interns....I should have gone!
Even then, they were hyping the show here because it was supposed to be set in Scranton. It was on the TV news, the papers and the radio. Only someone under a rock would miss it. Plus, everyone was talking about it. How could someone have missed a friend asking if she'd seen an episode? Curious.

I enjoyed the proposal. Perfect and you'd never have expected it that way.

Andy saying to the camera that it's every boys dream to think about how his wedding will be. :rotfl: Angela is priceless in her coldness toward her "fiance." Andy wanting a washboard stomach for the first time Angela sees him naked was funny. Can you even imagine being on a date with Andy let alone agreeing to marry him? Loved Dwight having the booty call pager, too.

It's good to have old Ryan back to stir up trouble for Kelly.

I'm glad that I chose to watch this before Grey's last night. I didn't get to sit down to watch it until after 10:00 and I fell asleep by the second segment of Grey's. I'll have to find time to watch that today.

I loved last night when they were weighing in for the first time- and Dwight wanted everyone to eat one last bite of éclair and said "If you can't swallow it, hold it in your mouth."
And Michael DIDN'T say "That's what she said!" So Jim looks at him and says "Really, nothing?" :rotfl2:

Oh, and after Dwight and Angela's booty call, and Angela tells him it's the last time because "I have a fiance that I really like" :rotfl:

The proposal was great too!

My favorite last night was when Michael had Kelly stand on the chair and everyone had to compliment her.
Meredith says "I like her nails"
Michael says "be more specific"
Meredith "I like her FINGER nails."

I died laughing at how she emphasized "finger".

Love the fruit flies in the vending machine!
Michael tearing up the concernt tickets!
Phyllis getting to be head to of the party committee finally because she caught Angela and Dwight in the act!

What was going on with merediths face last night?????:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Okay, so the other night on TBS they had a very old episode and OMG! Steve Carrell was practically bald!!! My DH said "what is wrong with his hair"? It was actually very distracting. Then, a commercial came on for Get Smart and the difference in his hair was profound. So, did Steve get plugs?

That's funny you mention this- I was commenting to a coworker that the difference in his hairline from the first season to now is very dramatic (and I also thought his hair in the earlier episodes was very "distracting"! :rotfl: ). I think it's pretty obvious he's had something done...

btw-loved the episode last night!:thumbsup2

A couple of years ago his hair line almost looked painted on. He's definitely had something done.

I definitely can see a change in the hairline too. To be honest, I probably wouldn't want to go bald either. It's too cold here.;)

so does anyone know what was up w/ Merrideth's face last night?

Hooray for the proposal........FINALLY!! Fruit flies/vending machine was hilarious!

O.k, not that I care if he did have any work done. I still love him. But here is an older picture from The Office. Judge for yourself...

I'm pretty sure that they never mentioned her face. I tivo'd the episode and will watch it tonight after the debates. I'm going to need a good laugh after that.:rotfl2:

Speaking of funny, watch this old clip of Steve Carell when he was still on the Daily Show. It is hilarious!

One of my favorite parts was when they weighed everyone including Pam, and then when she stepped off the scale you could see everyone mentally trying to subtract to see how much she weighed.

Also when Angela was mentioning her comforters and pillow, and ended with a snotty, "THAT'S how I sleep at night."

Jan not knowing that they found the girl the vigil was for when they used her candles... who comes upi with things like that?!?

I think the marks on Meredith's face was a reaction from the bug spray Dwight sprayed on Stanley's food. She was right behind Stanley at the time and her face was unmarked then. As the weeks passed, it kept getting better. She seems to have bad luck with her health, Dwight trapping a bat on her head, Michael hitting her with his car, I think there were a few others.

How about the tapeworm that Kelly swallowed so that she'd look good in her size 2 bikinis that she bought online.

If you go on the NBC website, they have a deleted scene where she talks about her face. Something about going out on fishing boat with a bunch of guys she met. She says something like "I dont think I caught anything."

Has anyone seen the new board game 'The Office'? It's a trivia game, you answer questions and it has "that's what she says" tokens and a "support the rabid" bracelet. I didn't really read the details on the back but it looked like a fun game for groups that love The Office.
