OMG they are giving us the pumpkin muffin recipe

I don't see why it shouldn't freeze alright. If these turn out i might just make them in the next day or so to use up the rest of the ingredients.

Here is how mine turned out :

YUMMY!!!

These sound so yummy...perfect for a cool fall day! My DD's bridesmaids are coming to spend the night in 2 weeks to go dress shopping. Maybe I'll make these for them! :goodvibes

Thanks for the recipe! The chocolate chips sound better than raisins. White chocolate chips would be good too....maybe a mixture of chips....and in the rosette on the top, gently place 3 mini choc chips in the shape of Mickey!
Are the other recipes listed on any threads? I would love to get them and try them out!
Thanks:yay:

TONGA TOAST????  :yay:

They even have an official Disney recipe exchange that includes Tonga Toast. Check the index for the recipes that is a sticky and it will tell you where to look from there. They have hundreds of Disney recipes!!!popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

I just frosted the top of mine - but they were snarfed before I could even think of taking a picture!! I did only make half of the frosting and I still have some left over. With the rest of the pumpkin I made a pumpkin pie - I had a VERY happy family today!!! :lovestruc

I made these this morning! They were great and my family loved them. They have eaten them all! I don't have the tube-y thing for filling them up with the frosting, so I just frosted them with the icing instead. And now I have a half a can of pumpkin left - so pumpkin pie for dessert tonight!

One little note - let them cool in the muffin pans or they come out looking funny! They get all squishy and floppy. I think because the muffins are sooo soft.

And they are VERY GOOD with chocolate! Although, they would probably be good with Craisins instead of raisins. Since I am not a fan of raisins, I can not imagine ruining anything with them! LOL! :scared:

oooh how about raisinettes??????

Thanks for the recipe. I added everything to my list to pick up tonight. I can't wait to try them. Of course when we're at DL next week, I'll still have to pick one up. ;)

Mine came out almost too moist. I used a 15 oz. can of pumpkin puree - which should be 1 oz. shy of the 2 cups? Should I actually measure the contents of the can? Or can I add more flour? :confused3 Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Don't get me wrong. . .they are super delicious.

now see thats where we differ...too me it cannot be too moist...in fact at DL they are super dee dooper moist....so much so that when you peel the paper off, half of it sticks to the paper and you have to scoop it out with a spoon yum!!! but if you want it less moist I probably would add a little more flour

Mine were fairly moist the first day too. They firmed up a bit the next day.

With all the extra cream cheese mix (since there is so much leftover), if you save it you can spread some on top of a piece of french toast. It is soooo good, almost makes it taste like a cinnamon roll.

Ok I made them last night and they are delicious! I don't have a photo, but I made a pan of mini-muffins for work and a pan of larger ones for home. YUMMY!

My sister, LavenderPeach, gave the recipe to our mom who made them the other day. Normally, I don't really care for pumpkin spice type muffins, but she put chocolate chips in and I thought that made them pretty good. I love how moist they are! They came out flat on top but I guess that is what they are supposed to do. She sent the rest home with me. :cloud9: LP lives too far away to taste them so I guess she'll have to make her own.

I had to search for this recipe earlier today. So I am gonna bump it up 'cuz it's that time of year again!

:cake:

YUM! I LOVE this recipe! Not only do I buy these multiple times whilst visiting the parks in the Fall but I have made 3 batches for the family here at home since returning from this year's DL trip at the beginning of October! lol
