Here's my first attempt, for DD6's school Fall Festival tonight I followed the recipe exactly. They are super moist, but I like them that way! Definitely a "treat", not healthy by any means

Has anyone made these using "cake flour"? I use cake flour when I make a Texas Sheet Cake and it turns out excellent every time. I was just curious before I try this recipe out if anyone else has sucess using cake flour. In any case, I'll give it a go, and let you know how it turns out!!

I bought one tonight from Blue Ribbon Bakery on Main Street. I planned to eat it while I was waiting for fireworks, but wasn't hungry. I'll be having it for breakfast in the morning!

Wow!!! Thanks for sharing. FINALLY got around to making these yesterday and they are nearly gone already... YUM! I do find they are a bit like crack though... I couldn't stop thinking about them last night, and I'm craving them again this morning. YUMMMY!!! (Mine didn't turn out pretty, so no picture.) I used the pampered chef decorator tube thingy and it worked great... good pressure for fillig up the inside of the muffin with cream cheese happiness.

I agree about the crack This is now a family favorite recipe. Best.muffins.ever!

My wife made these for Thanksgiving and they came out perfect. We made them as mini muffins which ended up being better as they werent as messy. Everyone at dinner said they were addicting and they were the perfect cap on our holiday.

So I've made these twice this holiday season, and I have to say, mine were WAAAY better than the one I had at the BRB this last week! Unless the one I got was just not good, but it was very dry with no pumpkin taste!

Both sides of my family raved about the muffins/cupcakes and will probably have to make them again for Christmas! Yes! Another reason to make them!
