So excited for you! That is just awesome and I can totally relate with regard to the end of Disney depression. The problem in my house is I'm the one with depression, my husband likes Disney, enjoys our vacations but doesn't crave it like I do. We're going to St. Augustine for a week this year instead of Disney as I'm saving my points for a blowout trip with the whole family, next year. Since St. Augustine is only 2 hours from Disney, I said to my husband the other day, do you think we could take a day trip over just to tide me over? He said sure, so a couple of days later, I said, maybe we could even spend the night! Slowly the seed is planted.....
We actually looked into the auto-train for the trip to St. Augustine this year (we live in Pennsylvania) hi neighbor! and after we priced it all out, we actually got cheaper plane fare. Now, we still have to rent a car, but after we went through the math and everything else, we just booked the plane. If my mother-in-law wasn't with us for the St. Augustine trip, we would have done the train thing, but she wouldn't handle it very well.
