Old WDW Passes

I have a couple of passes from our last trip 5 years ago. Is there any way to tell how many days we have left on them. Can we go to our local Disney Store and have them scanned.?

Hmmmmm, that is not very convenient is it? I guess I just will bring them along.

Also on the Rumor board, I read something about Pleasure Island having free admission during the summer months is this true?
