OLD THREAD: 2012 Beach and Yacht FAQ, Part 2- May, June and July DON'T POST HERE!

I know, I know!

I cleared a couple of spots!

My DH has tried for years to get me to clean up my (email) inbox but I think he has just given up and closes his eyes when he gets close to my computer.
That is me too! Every once in a while, I clear some emails. I won't even tell you how many emails I currently have...:rolleyes1

11 days for me, Bob, Jeanne and the Princess herself.

I'm almost done taking everything waist high and below and putting it in the spare room away from grabbing hands. The house looks empty.

The crib is set up and in our room (the only place it fits). Bob keeps looking at it and shaking his head.

How exciting - I bet you can't wait to take her to SAB.

Getting ready for a little one's visit can certainly keep you busy! I hope you all have a wonderful time. :goodvibes

Thoughts on Captain's Grille for breakfast? Beaches and Cream for lunch or dinner? (and how busy does it get since no ADRs) Cape May Cafe?

Not scotmel, but we stayed in a YC CL GV room (two queen beds, no day bed) this past April and overlooked the gazebo. I think there were at least 5 or 6 CL rooms that had pretty much the same view.

Thanks for the tip! I will call my TA and ask her to add the request. :)

I haven't eaten at either, but I can tell you that for months we had a breakfast ADR at Cape May, but then looked at the breakfast menu at Captain's Grille......and switched immediately! There are at least 3 dishes on that menu that I'm drooling over. Also, not to pull too much from BC/YC, but Kouzzina (7 minute walk over at Boardwalk) also makes a great breakfast, and we never needed an ADR.

Not that it is a competition or anything, but can you beat 11,810?

:rolleyes1

I win???
Actually, I was just going to say that you win, as I checked my inbox and it's at 8552. I seriously need to delete. But, I glanced at the bottom of the page, which includes the messages I've filed and (gasp) it's 12,939. I'm not sure I want to win this competition though. I'm off to delete some messages and will let you know when you can claim the title. :rotfl2:

I saw a dining report on Kouzzina breakfast a few weeks back...OMG!! It looked AMAZING!! I was drooling.

Speaking of embarasssingly large amounts of email messages....
I have 2 different accounts that I use regularly. One (the older of the two) has over 39,000 messages. Yup you read that right close to FORTY THOUSAND messages. The other one is not so bad..... including the stuff I have filed into various folders, it's roughly 18,000 give or take a few hundred.:upsidedow I'd say, there's a good chance that I win.....:surfweb:

My work email has 6,288.

I also have my Yahoo account, 2 Comcast accounts and probably a couple other old emails that I don't ever check anymore so who knows how much stuff is floating around there.

We love CG for breakfast....

Beaches and Cream best to hit on off peak times unless you are willing to wait. 45 minutes to an hour are not uncommon during peak lunch and dinner times. Me. I just stop by the To Go counter and get a milkshake everytime I walk past. (Hence the rapid weight gain at WDW)

CM. We hit it every second or third visit. Not a must do even though we love seafood.

I'd say you definitely win.

Best thing about CG for breakfast is that you can get a buffet but still get eggs anyway you want them, just ask your server and they will get you an omelet, or poached or scambled/fried. It's included with your buffet.

Not only do you win, but I will use you in the future as a shining example whenever someone gives me a hard time!!!

I bet you can still find stuff when you need it though, right?

We headed down towards the Cape, with a stop on the way for breakfast. Then we went for a walk along the Canal. Took a drive to Mashpee Commons for a little shopping, then drove over to Hyannis, back up to Sandwich. Stopped for an early dinner and then headed home. The weather was all over the place. No real rain, but a few drops here and there. Some sun, but mostly clouds. And it was pretty breezy down there. It was just nice and relaxing.

Sounds like a great day! Happy Birthday!

You must be so excited:cool1:

speaking of lobster...the place we went yesterday gave us a buzzer to let us know when the food would be ready. Here is a picture of it:

I would go to any restaurant that had a lobster buzzer:thumbsup2
Happy Birthday pixiedust:pixiedust:

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I wanted to keep the buzzer and take him home with me. LOL
