(I am having issues with shutterfly, so the pics are being posted right not. Hopfully I will get them up soon)

After we left Madame Tussaud's we went to grab some lunch. Neither of us had ever been to Sonic, so we went. It was soooo yummy. Or we were starving. Either way, it was good. We picked up the kids then headed back to the Orleans. The kids went swimming while James and I lounged poolside.

The pool was gonna close soon, so we got the kids up to the room to shower and get ready for dinner. We hit Sbarro's at the Orleans then headed out to the strip for the night.

We parked at the Venitian since we were planning on checking out the Mirage and TI shows. On the way we took a few pics.

The Volcano at the MIrage was great. We loved that show a lot. The TI sirens show wasn't that good. Definitely not for teh kids. Think the Pussycat Dolls meet the POTC. And not in a totally good way either. But we still had a good time. We thought about going to the Bellagio, but that just was too far, and we were pooped.

Once back at the room, the kids knocked right out. As soon as they were asleep, James and I shared a oreo we had from the Rocky Mountain Chololate Factory. It was an oreo on a stick, dipped in caramel, dipped in milk chocolate, then rolled in coconut. Yep, we weren't sharing with those kids.

We finally called it a night and got to bed.

The next morning was Saturday and we had to be out early since Taylor had a softball game. So we were all up and out of the hotel room by 9:30am. We took the kids home to their mom and James and I were on the road. We made one stop for gas in Baker. I guessed the temp correct this time....76! Then it was straight home to Anaheim for us.

Keep your shirt on!
Well, where is the fun in that?

I LOVE the Tussaud pics so far. OMG, there are so many figures, and they call came out great. But I really love the one of you with Hef. That's a must do for our group for sure!! :thumbsup2
And the one of James with Julia Roberts is really good. She looks the most realistic in that pic anyway.

Was that Scream thing an extra fee?

What do you mean, the TI show isn't for kids?? We take the kids there all the time. :lmao: "A little bit of honey and a whole lot of sugar...." Come on, that's classic. :rolleyes1

So you STILL have not seen the fountains???? :sad2:

I want one of those Oreos. Now. Right now.

YAY for guessing the right temp! I have a pic of Ruben in front of that thermometer and the temp in the background is 116.

I know....some looked so real. It was fun to be goofy and silly. We fit right in with everyone though.

Nope, they scare the crap out of you for free. Aren't we lucky.

Seriously? I was ready to toss up my extra stripper cash when they started that song.

Not the whole show. But I will next time.

The oreo was to die for. James and I at first thought we should share another with the kids, but then we were like.....no way. We almost took pics of ourselves eating the oreo infront of the kids while they were sleeping. But we got greedy and ate the thing to darn fast.

116???? That is way to hot.

Ruben wants to go there too and I keep putting it off. I might have to take a trip there with him first before we all go, or he might get annoyed with me. :rolleyes1 ;)

We are lucky!! I love that stuff.

LOL They are clothed. Sort of. What more do you want.
And that show is NOTHING compared to some of the moving billboards driving around the Strip. They have seen it all at this point. But they also aren't naive about things and we've been able to have some really open and frank discussions, especially with the older two, which I prefer to the whole "learning it all from your friends" route.

For sure. The fountains are a must do in June.

That would have been so funny. :rotfl2:

Yeah, 116 is a little warm. ;)

Do I get a crown and a sash too???? :rotfl:

Of course!!

Stacie I love the pictures! There are a few new peeps in wax! I love that place. That's great that you guys got free tixs.
You went to high school with Tiger, cool.

YAY for Taylor & her team!!

First off--way to go Taylor!!!!! Revenge is sweet . . . . .

Second, glad you had such a great time Stacie--your pics are great!

Third, Theresa, I am not sure if you posted about hockey here or in the Divas thread, but in any event I think you should wear the tiara TO the hockey game. Let's show those boys!

Fourth--I bought a new pair of jammies yesterday for Vegas--a tank top and shorts. (Since I assume it's gonna be hot . . . . . )

Fifth--I think everyone plays the "guess the temperature" game in Baker!

Well, remember though that inside everything is air conditioned and sometimes you can actually get cold indoors.
You just wanted some hot jammies in case a certain someone does show up. :rolleyes1

Stacie, I just checked out your Shutterfly album. I love the pics. Mind if I steal a certain one (or two?) for personal use? ;)

And a tank and shorts are code for cami and booty shorts. Bow chica brown cow.

Bragging rights!

Trust me--I won't need hot jammies with this one. (and they're not all that hot--I bought them to sit around and chat before bed with the girls and an appropriate adult beverage).

Oh, and I also bought a bathing suit. Not sure that I'm actually going to have the courage to wear it in public--but I bought it.

Wear the suit. Trust me, none of us are looking forward to bathing suit season, but we got to do it.
