Come on ladies, you need to work so you have money for Vegas!!

Hey girly girls! Is it June yet?? :cool1: ;) I cannot wait. In fact, I'm more excited than ever now that it's getting closer!! :yay:

I've been busy today. We are doing a yard sale. It's slow but you know you still have to wait out there hoping for some customers. I'm selling everything dirt cheap, 50 cents, 25 cents, etc. I think we've made $50 so far. Good thing since I need some groceries. lol

Anyway, I'm going to add the Irishmen restaurant to the front page as the other option for lunch at NY NY that day. (Sorry I didn't get to it sooner but occasionally I do have to tend to my family, lol) Then when we get there we can decide which we prefer. I'm fine with either one. :thumbsup2

Also, Donna, I heard something came up and you can't make it in June after all? That's too bad, I hope everything is ok. And I did go ahead and take your name off the sign-ups. Let me know if I missed anything or if anything changes.

Catch ya'll later.

Stacie, where you at girl?? I wanna hear about the rest of your trip and see those pics. :woohoo: :yay:

Hey, what's that supposed to mean?

When I get home I will load some pics on photobucket & post them.

Yep you can sit on the bed with Hef, Jenna Jamison, the Rock, the Kennedy's, I love Madame Tussauds. I have been 3 times, but I still go back, I love it!

James and I went on Friday afternoon. We had a lot of fun. I am loading my pics to shutterfly right now, and will post them soon.

Hey my mom is wanting a laptop... maybe i could get her that little one and put it up for christmas. Does anyone have that model that is $250?

Madame Troussaounds is fun .. they had a really kewl Bono a few years ago and He was kinda crouched down.. i stood between his thighs..and tilted my head .. the pic looked like Bono was whispering in my ear.. hahahahaha.. what a little nerd i am.. it was probably the closest i will ever come to Bono whispering in my ear. :rotfl:

Just wait till you see the stupid things we did with the figures. :sad2:

Yay for drinks in Vegas! :yay:

I second that! :thumbsup2

Soooooo--I told ex-ex-BF today that I was going to Vegas in June. he's a big Vegas fan.

Ummmmm---if I disappear for a while don't worry girls--ok?????

Same goes from me. James might go up to visit the kids again, and asked if anyone would mind if I disappear for a while. ;)

It's never too late for Vegas!!
It might be too late for Love, lol, but other than that, everything is still open so feel free to jump back in. The schedule and some links are on the front page. We finally got our act together and made some real plans, and we are all super excited!! :cool1:

 Uh oh, does that mean I'm going to come back to the room one night and find the Do Not Disturb sign on the door?? :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:

Hey, I have a life. Taylor had a huge softball game yesterday. We got into town at 2:15, and I still had to get snacks for the team and have her at the field at 3:00. Game time was at 5:00. It was something of a grudge match. We were playing the city that our coach got kicked out of and the girls used to play for. They all left that city to follow the coach to another city. We played at their field and they were hating us something fierce. But, we won 4-0. After the game, we went for pizza and beer. Closed that place down and then dropped the girls home and went to a bar to hangout some more. So James and I didn't get home till about 1:30 this morning or so. Needless to say, I slept all of 4 hours. But I am here to get those pics up.

Where did everybody go :confused3 :sad1:

Ummm, I went to Vegas :confused3

Stacie, where you at girl?? I wanna hear about the rest of your trip and see those pics. :woohoo: :yay:

Ok, I am gonna do somewhat of a mini trip report, but I am gonna post it here. I don't want everyone and their mother checking it out on the trip report boards

Do I get a crown and a sash too???? :rotfl:

Everyone should get a crown and a sash. JMO.

Everyone should get a crown and a sash. JMO.

I agree. Oh and I went to Target and bought one of those tiaras Jane was telling us about. For a buck, she's right, it's not bad at all! I might go get more.

I also saw all the Bachelorette stuff but didn't get any yet as I wasn't sure if we really wanted that or not. :confused3

Ok, so I am gonna do a quick trip report for Vegas......

DBF James and I left around 10am on Wednesday morning. We actually had a great drive up there. He is such a sweetie, that we listened to my choice of music the entire drive. Last trip I had gone to the Mad Greek and convinced him that we needed to have lunch there again. The Mad Greek is in Baker. James and I have a stupid thing where before we get to Baker we both guess how hot or cold it is. The World's Largest Thermometor in Baker decides the winner. I had thought 63, but he choose that, so I went with 61. Wouldn't you know it, it was 63. He won. Lame I know, but its our thing.

The Mad Greek was not crowded at all. Thank goodness. I had the lamb gyro, which was even better than last time. And James got the Onassis burger. A huge cheeseburger with pastrami on top. Yep, he ate the whole thing. He will tell you he didn't since there was one bite left, but really, it was the whole thing. And no jokes, I ate my whole gyro.

Back on the road we went again. We got to Vegas by 3pm and were able to check in right away. We stayed at The Orleans and were able to get a strip view.

We were pretty exhausted so we chilled at the room and napped for a while. Ended up going to a late dinner at the hotel. It was really good. Ate at Don Miguels. Great Mexican food. We hung out and did a little gambling as well. And I was surprised to see used needle receptecals in the lobby bathrooms. On the way back to the room we stopped by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate place and got a couple of treats. We had gotten to the room, but realized we forgot to bring up some water. So James ran back down to get some. And in case anyone was wondering, I made a quick switch to the bunny outfit, and he loved it.

The next day we slept in some and then decided to head over to the Erotic Museum. It wasn't opened yet, so we decided to go to the strip instead. We went to Planet Hollywood and Miracle Mile shops.

I found the DC store and got my daughter hooked up with a new backpack that can hold her skateboard as well. As James and I were walking, we got asked to watch a pilot. We had nothing else going on and they were giving free tickets away, so we did. Honestly, it was a great show. Bio-Recon! Think the new Steve Irwin. For a small amount of time, we were giving tickets to Madame Tussauds.

We headed back to the hotel and had a delish lunch at Fuddrucker's. Now that was a tastey burger. Oh, and cheese sauce on fries is to die for. We ran back to the room so I could change for that night before we went to pick up his kids.

We got the kids and did a little shopping.

After we were done shopping and hanging out, they dropped me off at the Rio so I could meet up with Beth, Amy and Jane for the Chippendale's show.

Ok, I am skipping around a bit. Last night was Chippendale's (I am saving that part of the report for later). James and I got up on Friday and knew we were gonna head to the strip, hang out and do Madame Tussaud's. We had the afternoon to ourselved since we were picking up the kids at 3:30. Remember, we got these tickets free, so we were happy about that.
