Awesome work on picking up a great deal for the tickets... yay for more stripper cash now!!!

Anyway, not to say that I am missing any of you, but I'm sitting here catching up on the threads after a long day of shopping, and I'm wearing a tiara just because. My hair is styled in what Beth dubbed my princess: "princess hairdo" on the trip, and it just screamed to have a tiara added, so I did!

I love that you wore you tiara just because. Doesn't it automatically make you feel special?

Just catching up... I can call, but I need definite confirmations from everyone who wants to go. I'm not buying 10 tickets and find out that not everyone is IN.

If you are DEFINITELY in for Love, please PM me. I'll see what I can find out as soon as I hear from the other 9 who have said they wanted to go.

PM sent.

Wait, so do you not miss us? ;)

I love your princess hair. So pretty. Unlike some of us who can't do diddly squat with their stick straight hair. :rolleyes1 But no, I'm not jealous at all. :rotfl:

Awwww. Love is a many splendored thing. Love lifts us up where we belong. All you need is love! :lovestruc

Hi Everybody,

I hope your Easter has been good. We woke up to it being really really cold.
So last minute bringing the luncheon in doors. The babyback ribs were sooo yummy..i mixed up a bunch of stuff to make a orange-raspberry chipolte terrakyi sauce..it was sooo finger licking.

The babies were happy with their treasures. :lovestruc

Sounds awesome (except the cold...). I love the idea of barbecue for Easter - I think I'm doing that next year :upsidedow We've been super busy this weekend because of ball hockey (we won today - yay!! and Jesse scored a goal - woo hoo!!). He's so excited because he's the team captain - he loves it. I think it's good for him too - he has to encourage all the players and work together as a team :thumbsup2 We're not having Easter dinner until tomorrow because I'm too pooped out for today, but it will be good.

Congratulations!! Way to go Jesse!!

Of course I miss you!

I tend to think of myself as hair challenged too, so thanks for the compliment :lovestruc

It does make me feel special, which is why I do it!!!

Hope that everyone had a wonderful Sunday and great holiday, which ever one you happen to be celebrating. We woke up a little later than usual and let Ty take apart his Easter basket. Despite the fact that I didn't feel like it had very much candy in it, I think that he had more sugar before 10 am than he has had in his entire life thus far. Then we headed to the park and let him work off a little energy on the playground and he had a little easter egg hunt.

Then it was naptime for Ty so Dave and I spent that time playing with my fun new Wii game that the Easter bunny brought me--Dance Dance Revolution Disney Grooves. It is so much fun and a good workout to boot! I love all the Disney music and the cute little costumes that you can earn so that you can dress your Mii like Disney characters.

Finally I grabbed a short nap while Dave made dinner--glazed spiral ham, mac'n'cheese and a creamed spinach casserole that is the most important holiday food tradition in my family. And now I am catching up on the boards. All in all, it was a perfect day!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day. And that dinner sounds yummy. We went to Bucca's and now have a ton of leftovers. We had margharita pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli with meat sauce, and pricutto stuffed chicken. It was all so good. Oh, and we had a spinch salad with candied walnuts and goat cheese. MMmmmm!

Man, I wish we had gone with you. We went to the Chart House in Dana Point and although a lovely location overlooking the harbor, the food was just so so. Next time I'm not letting my cousin choose where we eat!

You totally should have. We ended up with so many leftovers that we could have had at least 3 or more people at the table and still be stuffed at the end of the meal.

Note to self--next Easter go with Stacie's family!

Everyone's Easter sounds so good - Dawn's bbq, Jane's creamed spinach made by DH (wow), Stacie's massive quantities of yummy food.

Beth, how are you feeling? Hope you are better!

Morning girls!
Sounds like everyone had a great Easter.

Way to go JESSE!!

So get this..my kids never ask for an egg hunt. Well yesterday after dinner Kaeleb is like, "Mom, when are we going to hunt for eggs?"
Ok so they are usually with their dad on Easter, or we go to church and then they go to their cousins house with their grandparents in Tricities. So I haven't had to do and egg hunt in years. Well last year we had one at my friend Ambers house before the BBQ. Anywho I felt so bad. I didn't even think of an egg hunt.
1. Because Jordan is way too COOL :cool2: to hunt for eggs.
2. I don't have any plastic eggs.
3. I already used most of the other eggs for deviled eggs & egg salad
4. They never ask for this....

So next year, I guess they will hunt for eggs, even Mr.I am too cool for anything....

:rotfl2: Well, I didn't know how else to word it in the space allowed. :rotfl:

That sounds like fun!

Damn, I need a drooling smiley! That all sounds so good. :worship:

Ugh, why did I have to read that when I am supposed to be getting back on my diet today. :headache: lol

Beth, how are you feeling? Hope you are better!
I'm good, thanks. My sore throat is totally gone, and just a few sniffles remain. :thumbsup2

Aww, don't feel bad. You couldn't have known. Kids, they like to keep us guessing don't they!!

My son is 14 and he likes to think he's too cool for it all, but once we start something he'll join in. I found most kids are like that at heart even if they have to try to act cool on the outside. :goodvibes

I thought Cheryl, Wendy, Debbie or whomever else is on the "boys are dumb" train might get a kick out this.
