I dunno either Diane ? I was wondering what the "rolling on the floor" laughing smiley was in reference to, so I posted a "confused" smiley. Perhaps lobstershanty is laughing at some of us ?

I am not laughing at anyone. I just think it is funny that such a big issue is being made over the color of cabinets in an OKW studio, 7 years ago!! I know what color cabinets we had in 2 of the studios, but for whatever reason, some are bound and determined to say I am wrong. Just to double check, I asked my family what their recollection was of the color of cabinets in the studios. At first they laughed and thought I was joking, until I showed them this thread. Then one of them suggested I check one of our trip journals that we keep for every trip. Sure enough, in the journal we had commented on the color and condition of the cabinets and how we thought the darker colored cabinets made the small space appear even more cramped. But since it is such an important issue to some, and I hate to see anyone have un needed stress, especiially over something so silly and triival. I will say: the light pickled whatever colored cabinets in the studios we had, must have been extremely, extremely dirty because for cabinets that were light pickled whatever-they were the color of coffee.

I think owners like to defend thier resort when they see someone post something that doesn't seem right. We stay at OKW most of the time, and I have never seen brown cabinets in any studios or other bathrooms there. The area does seem small, but not dark.
