OKW Room Assignment

I was wondering what was going on with the OKW room assignments. Are they first come, first serve or are they taking preferences at reservations? Also, are they allowing guests into the rooms if they are ready or are they making you wait until 4 pm.?

At Christmas time, our room was ready at 12:30PM. We had requested a non-smoking, water view and we got them both.

OKW is still accepting requests and rooms are available before 4pm if they are any ready for occupancy.
