OKW Rocks...

Okay guys, we just got back and I understand now too. What a lovely place to spend Thanksgiving! The 1-bedrooms are spacious and awesome, and the golfcourse view so peaceful. The only negatives I could come up with...pull out couch a little less than comfy, no bathroom entry from hallway. Other than that, 2 big thumbs up...we will be back!

I believe that the newer or higher number bldgs at OKW do have 2 accesses 1 from the MBDRM and 1 through the laundry room - ours did it was bldg53 - OKW is wonderful!

Thanks, thats good to know. Maybe I'll request that next time. We were in building 12, I liked the convenience of being close to the boat, general store, and of course the gurgling suitcase

Hey ez, we were in Building 12 too! Great location!

Many of the units at OKW do have an additional entrance to the Master Bath through the laundry room. I think it is all units numbered 30 and above, someone can correct me if I am wrong. Next time just make sure to request that if it is important to you.. We never, usually, have anyone sleeping on the foldout when we go so we don't miss it, but I can see where it would come in handy.

The 1 br OKW villas are beautiful, I love them. They are by far the nicest 1 br DVC units on WDW property. I just wish it was less laid back and quiet at this resort and I wish restaurants, entertainment, etc was more easily accessible. I enjoy very much sitting on the balcony and just relaxing but after a few days of this I get antsy, especially when I am at WDW for 8-10 nights.When you come back from the park closings, if you do not venture out of the resort, there is essentailly nothing to do but stay in your villa. A perfect DVC resort would be a 1 br OKW villa located at either BWV or BCV, a villa located conveniently to the elevators, of course, with a good view! LOL!
