OKW booking questions

I am currently awaiting news about ROFR on our contract.

If all goes well our closing should be on or before February 9th.

1. At approximately 5 months out will it be hard getting reservations?

2. At 60 days out for an end of June reservation will there be a waitlist? (I need to go back and apply points from a "holding" account. )

You never really know until you call - availability can change very quickly.

That said, IMHO, you have a very good chance of getting what you want. The summer months are one of the easier times to book one of the DVC resorts -especially if you want OKW. (It's still the largest of the onsite DVC resorts).

Hard to know if there will be availability at 60 days out - but if I had to bet anything on it, I'd say yes, you have a good chance.

I too think your chances would be good. This is especially true if you are looking for something other than a studio or GV.

OKW ROFR went very quickly this past summer, but I heard several comment that there were delays for them. I hope yours is like mine was and it goes very quick. The ROFR was less than a week and I got my Disney info about a week later. They have been great so far. I get to use my OKW "home" in a few days (Jan 8th) and then again in June. I'm excited -- get to play with the grandkids - it is such fun!! Good Luck.
