Brrrrr. We are at -36F windchill right now. But really that’s been common this winter along with blizzards (we’ve had 8 so far this year)
Ugg. So done with this winter.Let’s get onto spring and the inevitable flooding.
I was just outside and it’s already beyond cold. We have a grocery delivery tomorrow morning and I’m already not looking forward to it.
With windchill it’s supposed to be -53 F here tomorrow morning. Yikes!
crazy weather!

We got 5" of snow that night and we're back below -20C for the next week.Do any of you own generators? Curious.
That is crazy cold. Tomorrow is supposed to be close to 50 here and rain.
So I suppose we must be going back in the negatives in two seconds if that is going on so close. Boo to all of it!
No, no generator. We don’t really worry about pipes freezing or the power going out because we’re used to it, and construction is done to make sure everything is protected. The ground freezes to a depth of around 6-8 feet.
Yes, "all the way up", but not near so far up as Canada goes right to the tippity-top.Where does it get this cold? Are you all way up in Canada? Brrrr just thinking about those temps

I'm an hour north of Milwaukee and we've had -20F with windchills of -40. Now we're getting ready for a layer of ice and then a couple inches of snow on top of it. I was awoken by a phone call at 5:45 this morning telling me that my kids don't have school today. This is now 6 days off in a row.Where does it get this cold? Are you all way up in Canada? Yes. I was raised 500 miles further north than I now live and they are more distinct and visible during more times of the year the farther north you go. This picture (according to the internetOhhh, have any of you seen the Northern Lights? This is one thing I would really love to see, when I see photos the display looks breathtaking.
) was taken near my hometown:

no we don’t own a generator, never needed one.
And yes the new driver worries me too! Especially driving in his runners if he gets stuck.
