its what the temperature feels like with the humidity added in. Our July’s are usually very hot and very humid. It’s like walking into a city sized sauna the second you step outside.
I just googled it and yes, they are the same thing.

like how hot? I'm trying to imagine in my brain. Like is your hot and my hot the same? lol
Ok so I googled.. So here in the summers we will have heat indexes of 107-112 pretty regularly in July and August. Which is a temp of 100 + 35% humidity for example. or 95F and 50% humidity. Which seems pretty close to like a humidex of 40. Why would you want to live where part of the year its too cold to breathe and the other part of the year its to hot to breathe? lol

35 to 50% humidity? That would be a dream! We drop to 65% and are relieved it's so dry.
Spent a week in Myrtle, 97° and something like 35% humidity. Driving around with the windows down and the sunroof open. Glorious on the beach. Could walk around town. It was hot but not sticky hot, just in temperature. Got back home to sweating like crazy in the 98% humidity and 75-80°.

All my family is here and all my doctors are here, that’s my reasons for staying. My husband hates winter as much as I hate summer so it would be hard to find somewhere to move to.

I'm use to heat and humidity as well, doesn't mean I want to endure it outside. I don't think there's anywhere in the US that beats work heat and humidity. Close, but not close. Florida and Disney was miserable at 107° and 99%, but that still isn't as bad as work.
